Gothenburg, Sweden - October 28th, 2021 - International developer and publisher Thunderful Games, creator of the multi-award winning and multi-million selling SteamWorld franchise, is welcoming everyone to a new digital games showcase, ‘Thunderful World’. The event will be taking place on November 10th at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm GMT / 8pm CET, hosted by Hollywood and pop culture icon Mark Hamill. Tune in to the livestream on Twitch, YouTube and the thunderful.world website.
Tune in to see Mark delight us with a ton of exciting new game reveals and announcements from Thunderful. The event will deliver updates on exciting upcoming titles including the surprise indie hit of Summer Game Fest, Planet of Lana. There will also be more news on Thunderful titles like Firegirl, Cursed to Golf, Source of Madness, Tinkertown and White Shadows.
Alongside Mark’s headline hosting role, the event will also feature appearances from Thunderful Group CEO Brjánn Sigurgeirsson, Corporate Vice President at Xbox Sarah Bond, plus a few other surprise industry partners.

The Steam Next Fest is almost over. But before that, you have the chance to see us play Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue in the stream once again - and of course to play the demo yourself until 7pm CEST/10am PDT today!
"Us" means again that Julian and Tim from our publisher Thunderful will be playing, but Gabe and I will be there live as well. You definitely shouldn't miss that!
The stream starts today, October 7th 6pm CEST/9am PDT and will last for about 30 minutes.

Thanks to community feedback, several bugs were found concerning the mouse aiming in the Steam Next demo. I also added a new hose feature that should also solve a few issues.
Here's what I've updated in the demo :
mouse aiming should more precise and stable
no more game freezes when playing with mouse and keyboard
hose water will now push debris. Fire monsters won't be able to hide behind planks!

STEAM NEXT FEST: Play the Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue Demo!
Dear firefighter-to-be's out there,
Welcome to the Steam Next Fest demo of Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue!
Grab your helmet, trusty axe and high-pressure fire hose and get into the boots of Firegirl, a young rescue officer just starting her career. Respond to your first emergency calls in the demo and save trapped civilians all across the city. Oh, and cuddly cats as well!
But keep on your mind: When Firegirl arrives on the scene, she only has a few minutes to save all the civilians caught in the blaze!
The Steam Next Fest demo includes the very beginning of Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue including the tutorial and the first bunch of missions. You will douse roaring flames, chop through obstacles and extinguish dastardly pyro-monsters, use your hose to boost your jumps and reach high places!
So rookie, what are you waiting for?!?

Right in time for gamescom our publisher hosts their second online game showcase event: The AHEAD gamescom Edition! They are going to give updates to upcoming and released games, play live, discuss the games with the developers and tons of more cool stuff!
Join me and the hosts Julian and Tim taking a deeper look into Firegirl, extinguishing bunch of fires and learn more about story, gameplay and stuff. And besides that you should definitely take a look at the other games in the live stream: White Shadows, Gigapocalypse, Source of Madness and The Fabled Woods.
