Fishing Maniacs 1 TD

Polishing the game. ;)

HI guys,
just wanna let you know that we are working hard on polishing the game now. ;)
And thank you all for constructive criticism that is pushing us forward in the right direction.

Map size comparison - S,M,L,XL,XXL

This picture shows how big the later levels are. First ones are small - the latter ones are gigantic.

Don't expect 15 mini levels in this T.D. game. It has many innovations, and it's not a standard T.D. game.

On this picture you can see how much of a difference in size there is between level 1 and level 15.

There are 15 levels in the game, but not all of them are Small. This game is not like most of the Tower Defense games. Levels grow in size as the game progresses.

So in the beginning you have Small levels, but later they grow to be Large, Xtra Large, and then Xtra Xtra Large.

Of course, the game play time increases with level size. You start with levels that last for about 5 minutes, then go through 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 20 minutes levels, and then go to levels that last for about 30 minutes.

Free HARD mode is live. Up to 20 hours of gameplay available now.

You can now choose to play the HARD mode of the game in addition to the NORMAL mode.

This is a completely free add on and it now doubles or triples the play time! Depending on how good of a player you are of course. ;)

Some levels will be really, really hard to complete, especially if you want to go for the perfect score (not loose a single life).

And yes, even we need to play some levels 4-5 times to complete them perfectly without a single life lost! ;)

Levels on world map are now numbered (1-15), level size (S, M, L, XL, XXL) and level duration time (4 - 28 minutes per level) are clearly displayed.

The World Map is now updated, the levels are numbered and easier to follow. You can now easily see how many level there are and how long each of them lasts.
Early levels last from 4 to 10 minutes, later ones have 10-15 minutes, and the late ones have up to 28 minutes of gameplay in them.

The complete gameplay time is now about 4 hours - if you finish all the levels on the first go and in Normal Mode difficulty.

There is now however, the Hard Mode. The chances are highly unlikely that you will finish the Hard Mode on the first try. And this is even more difficult if you want to finish the hard mode without a single life lost. It will usually take you up to 5 attempts per level to finish them.

A few additional updates regarding waves and character movement speeds have also been made.

Extra lives added on all levels! Level 3 a bit more easy now. :)

We've made level 3 a bit more easy since it does seem a bit too hard for the new players.

Additionally, we've added extra lives to all levels, so this should make it more comfortable for everyone to progress all the way through to the end game and final levels.

Also, Hard mode is coming soon, so if anyone is up for a really difficult challenge, this is where it can be found. ;)

Tips for new players!

- Expect the levels to get harder progressively! :)
They are easy at first, and harder and harder later. At around Levels 8 and 9 real troubles begin!

- Don't forget to press the SPACE bar to upgrade units.
But choose wisely which ones you want upgrade and when. Stronger units are a bit slower...

- Buy many cheap units - or save up for the better ones. It's your economic and strategic management choice. ;)

Let us know what you think or if you need any info about the game itself. :)

Adreamation Games Team!

Jimbo's upgrades detailed! He is the first out of six fishermen.

Here are some stats for Jimbo (check out the images).

The most important stuff for each unit is:
- damage
- range
- speed
- cost

The difference between the upgrades are highlighted in green (buffs) and red (nerfs).

For example, every time you upgrade Jimbo, he will have a stronger weapon, but a shorter range and a bit slower walking speed due to the heavier weight of the new weapon.

However, many fish have different resistances to different fishing tools and weapons, so it's not always the best decision to go for the highest upgrade possible. Some situations, fish and levels will be better handled with units of a lower tier, even thought that might be counter-intuitive at first.

More stats are coming soon for all the other fishermen!
