Independence Trout Open
Hey, angling community! Join us this July 4th for an epic anglers’ celebration of Independence Day by taking part in the Independence Trout Open, the festive Trout sportfishing tournament hosted annually by Fishing Planet! Really, what could be better than spending a great all-American holiday in good company amidst thrilling competitive excitement? So don’t hesitate to register and celebrate Independence Day by heading out on a fun and challenging competitive fishing journey that will take you through some of greatest Trout fishing locations in North America! First you’ll go from the Canadian snowy charm of White Moose Lake to the vastness of Michigan’s beautiful Saint-Croix Lake and the enigmatic banks of Colorado’s Rocky Lake in the three Qualifiers, then on to the picturesque shores of Oregon’s Falcon Lake for the Semifinal Round and the tournament’s Grand Finale, in which 20 best Trout anglers will fight their final battle for the title of Independence Trout Champion and many valuable prizes! Independence Trout Open will be held July 2th through July 7th, with the Registration starting on July 1rd, 24 hours prior to the First Qualifier.
The Tournament’s timetable is as follows:
28th of June - Registration for the Tournament begins.
29th of June - Qualifier 1 on Colorado’s Rocky Lake.
30th of June - Qualifier 2 on Lake Saint-Croix in Michigan.
1st of July - Qualifier 3 on Alberta’s White Moose Lake.
3rd of July - Semifinal Round on Falcon Lake in Oregon.
4th of July - the Grand Finale on Oregon’s Falcon Lake.

This is the moment of glory! After careful assessment of results, we are ready to reveal to the whole world the names of the top three Champions of the Boat Predators Cup! In addition to other magnificent prizes, each one of the top three will get an X-Series Bass Boat for their new epic catches. This was a good run: the best of the best locked together at Blue Crab Island. We thank you for participating and showing really high skills. Fishing Planet Boat Series: Semifinal Results
At some point we thought that the Gulf of Mexico would start to boil because of this insane race! The Blue Crab Island Semi-Finals turned out to be a blast. Not surprising, since so many fantastic anglers gathered in one place, and with so many predators among their catch! Well, from the 60 initial participants, 20 proved their right to advance to Finals and fight for the Champion’s title! Congratulations!
Wow! The Akhtuba River hasn’t seen a frenzy this spectacular in a long time. Following a real fight, 20 great anglers joined the players of the Boat Predators Cup Semi-Finals. Congratulations! And of course, you are welcome to continue the Tournament excitement at Blue Crab Island in the Gulf of Mexico. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the three Qualifiers! And if you weren’t lucky this time, remember: this is not the last Fishing Planet tournament, and you will surely have another chance to prove to everyone that you are the real fishing master!
Congratulations to the most skilled predator hunters! It was not easy to win in the second Qualifier, but 20 best anglers did it anyway and advanced to the Boat Predators Cup Semi-Finals. We will see them on June 19th at Blue Crab Island. If you didn’t succeed in this fight or only now decided to join the Tournament, it’s your last chance to do so! Because tomorrow, June 17th, is the third Qualifier at Akhtuba, Russia.
The first Tournament Qualifier is done, and top 20 anglers have advanced to the Semi-Finals. Congratulations! The state of Michigan hasn’t seen a fishing party this hot in a long time. But the June 19th Semi-Finals at Blue Crab Island will be even hotter! And if you didn’t find your name on the list of winners, you still have time to register for the second Qualifier. It will take place tomorrow at Lake Sander Baggersee.
