Lake Seminole, located on the Georgia-Florida border, has a climate that is ideal for largemouth bass to grow huge with a current record of 16lb 4oz. A popular venue on the Fishing League Worldwide tour with winners here including career mode angler Brian Latimer. This beautiful venue boasts longnose gar in excess of 30lb and huge channel over 44lbs!
Lake Jordan is situated in Chatham County, North Carolina and is a man-made reservoir. In the Tournament Bass Pack we will be recreating the New Hope River section of the lake. A fixture on the Major League Fishing Bass Pro tour, this picturesque landscape may look idyllic but catching the biggest fish from its depths is no easy task. Largemouth bass go to over 14lbs and With islands to explore, shorelines dotted with fallen trees and submerged structure, the challenges this pack brings are high, but the rewards are huge!

The Salmon Update is out now!
The highlight of this update is chinook and coho salmon being added to the game, they can be caught on Lake Boulder and Lake Miller. We have also added in the ability to quit out of career events in between rounds so you can go back to it later. In addition to this we have added a group of new anglers to the Career Mode in the pro and elite levels across all three tours. For the trophy hunters out there we have now put in trophy barbel in the lakes that they live in.
The full patch notes for this update are as follows:
- Coho and chinook salmon added
- User can now quit mid-career event (at the end of a round) and resume
- New anglers added to career mode
- Line clip default button changed from T to L on keyboard
- Barbel trophy fish added
- Adjusted trophy fish model sizes

Thank you for all your amazing feedback so far since the launch of Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour.
Our Community Response Update is our first update since the release of Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour and aims to address some of the most commonly reported issues we have had so far.
Here's the full list of issues that we have fixed with this update:
- Unlimited session length added in Multiplayer
- Section of Lake Miller with no water
- Owned equipment appears at the top of the list in the default sort
- Named Trophy fish weight not being tracked under species best weight
- Character wearing double hat during when wearing career outfit in other game modes
- TP displayed does not decrease when purchasing
- Bollies in equipment pack cannot be used in the Throwing Stick or Spod rod
- End of Career Mode event - Player profile image not displaying on screen
- Event Calendar end of season - UI prompts missing from multiple screens
- DFL series leaderboards were showing global scores
- Lake Dylan offline bass tournament - The offline tournaments based at Lake Dylan "Minnesota Mega Bass" all appear to take the player into a free flying camera option and do not display the opening cinematic, causing player to restart the game
- Career mode event, restart round - Pressing X after already restarting the round appears to keep reloading the title card, can cause cut scene to break and prevent gameplay
- Various crash fixes

April Update Out Now
The April Update for Fishing Sim World is available now. This update addresses the key issues that have been reported to us since the release of Lago del mundo.
Here are the changes in this update:
- Adjustments to the fights with large catfish to make them easier to catch
- The player will no longer lose a fish once the netting icon appears
- Fixed third speed setting on the trolling motor on the Haichou Levante
- Haichou Odyssey Live, Limited and Deluxe top speed set to 50mph
- Online menu now works in China
- Lago del mundo and Lake Dylan can now be used in DFL events
Fishing Sim World: Lago del mundo out now!
Set in the hot, sun drenched region of Andalucia in Southern Spain, Lago del mundo (Lake of the World) has a reputation as a serious big fish venue.
Covering over 1000 acres, this is the first lake to give the option of fishing from static locations (pegs) around the lake or take to the water in the brand new rigid inflatable boat, the Haichou Levante. Fishing from pegs around the lake offers you the chance to fish for monster catfish that have grown to 200lbs in this rich environment and carp to over 70lb.
Jumping into the RIB will let you explore the vast environment and spin for largemouth (black) bass to try and land some of the named trophy bass in the lake. There are also zander, pike and perch out there for you to catch.
Lago del mundo offers you the variety of fishing styles and species to suit everyone's tastes. Plus it has the size of fish that you will normally only find in angler's tales!

Bass Jumping Update Out Now
The next update for Fishing Sim World is now available and will download automatically the next time you launch the game on PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This is another significant update with many highlights that include improved bass fighting including the bass now jumping out of the water as well as equipment from three new licensed partners! Full notes are as follows;
- Improved bass fighting including bass jumping out of the water and striking lures on the surface of the water
- The One Knocker lure from Booyah Baits in 7 different colour patterns
- The Dinger from Yum Baits in 5 different colour patterns
- The Envy fishing rod from 13Fishing available as both spinning or baitcaster
- The Concept A3 baitcasting reel from 13Fishing
- The Concept Z baitcasting reel from 13Fishing
- The default spod bait is now a combination of mixed particles and there is an option to include boilies in this mix
- Added Duckett, Missile and Bill Lewis wraps available to the Bass Cat Puma boat
- Improved lighting for different times of day and weather conditions
- Added ripples on the water for Gigantica Road Lake
- Fixed store images for Korda SUBraid in 20lbs and 15lbs
- Ensured the White Crappie trophy weight is correct and registers in the trophy catches section

Fishing Sim World: Lake Dylan Out Now
Located in Minnesota, Lake Dylan covers over 2000 acres and has plenty of contrasting environments for you to explore. From docks and jetties around the semi-urban areas of the lake to the shorelines of the farms and forests, trolling around the perimeter of this lake offers lots of variety.
The main body of the lake shouldn’t be ignored either with significant depth changes in open water as well as islands with houses and structures to target.
As well as containing trophy-sized bass to over 8lbs and Northern Pike in excess of 45lbs, this lake also contains giant Muskie, Tiger Muskie and Longnose Gar with the Muskie growing to a huge 53lbs. With such a vast lake and huge fish to target, your skills and the strength of your equipment is going to be tested to the limit!
In total there are 11 species living in Lake Dylan, they are:

- Black crappie
- White crappie
- Bluegill
- Longnose gar

Muskie and Gar Update Out Now
The eighth update for Fishing Sim World is now available to download on PC, PlayStation and Xbox One! The highlight of this update is the introduction of three new species of fish – the muskie, tiger muskie and longnose gar. Full notes are as follows;
- Introduction of muskie, tiger muskie and longnose gar into the appropriate lakes
- Game localised into Chinese
- Fixed boat being unable to turn when not moving due to colliding against an object in multiplayer
- Other minor multiplayer fixes
- Localisation bug fixes
- Improved boat audio
- Updated Gigantica Main Lake select screen to ensure species list includes Bream and Tench
- Fixed the image in customisation for Fitzgerald Stunner rod as was displaying the Vursa rod
- Updated the species list in Grand Union canal to include roach
- Improved lake selection image for Gigantica
- Fixed cast bar in basic casting mode still showing when cast has been reset
- Fixed game occasionally crashing when scrolling through items in the shop quickly
- Boat now glides to a stop when switching to fishing during use of the trolling motor
