launch day!
Today is the big day at Midas Touch Games - Fist of Physics (early access edition) is finally availale to the whole world on Steam. After six months of work, our team has been able to bring robot brawling to Vive. Of course, we've only just begun; we're still working hard to finish the game. But today is a great day to reflect on what we've completed, and thank those who are choosing to support us in this phase of development.
We wanted to create an experience that could show off our proprietary physics engine, which makes face-offs against bad guys feel real, instead of canned. If you purchase the game, try pushing open a robot's arms when they are blocking, or picking them up, or throwing cars at them. Everything behaves exactly as it would in the real world - if the real world included massive two-story-tall attack robots.
The VR market already has a ton of gun-metal-grey arena shooters, so we wanted to build a game that was colorful, humorous, and totally uninterested in respecting your personal space. Our mechanical beasts like to get right in your face, which we believe helps give you a sense of scale and presence. There aren't many games to compare it directly to, and we're proud of that.
If you've picked up the game, thank you so much. It's an honor to have you as a customer - you're the type of player that makes it possible for us to create and play the types of games that we love. You are our heroes.
Please feel free to give us feedback here: if you get stuck, we'll unstick you. If you have criticisms, we're ready to take 'em. If you have compliments, you'll make our day.
Regards,
EthanMidas

Big thanks in advance to those who choose to support us during the Early Access window. We look forward to sharing this development journey with you!

EthanMidas
