SFXEngine v2.01 is now live. Changes in this latest update include:
-Load, Save, Move Up, Move Down options added to Environment List.
-Move Up, Move Down added to Sample List.
-Export Sample List option added. Exports as a CSV file. Mix/max level exports to 6-point precision, and loop points are exported for looping samples.
-Prev/Next parameter icons on Sound Information and Environment Information window now skip to next active parameter.
-DLC Store Link added to Engine Room menu.
-And a few fixes and enhancements behind the scenes.
A small Flatspace update today. There are two small bug fixes: 1. Saved games while multiple shots/missiles were in the air would only reload one, while retaining 'ghost' others. This bug has been present since v1.00 and is now fixed. 2. The radar range failed to account for screen aspect (you'll note that radars are always circular even if the screen isn't), so wide screens detected radar items beyond the range. Now fixed.
Happy Flying,
Mark
A Small Update
A little fix in this minor update. Saved games and graves missed out the date and showed only the time, this is now back.
Flatspace Updates
Hello Starpilots,
Flatspace and Flatspace IIk have been updated today. A rare crash bug in Flatspace IIk has been fixed and the game engines for both games updated. Thanks to Charu Shardul for his help in pointing this out and supplying an essential save game.
The icons on Load Game screen, and Missions screens in Flatspace, have been rearranged to make everything look neater. Flatspace should now have the same interface spacing as Flatspace IIk.
Store artwork for both games have doubled in resolution too, and the Official Flatspace website, www.lostinflatspace.com, has been updated for the first time in over a year.
Any issues, drop them in Discussions or send me an email.
Happy Flying,
Mark
Welcome to Flatspace v1.13

Enjoy Flying,

A major SFXEngine update is live today. SFXEngine v2.00 has a bunch of new features for new sound creation and batch audio processing. There's a new look, and about 25% of the core code has been rewritten. New features include:
-New sample structure with double pointers, permitting samples beyond 90 seconds and up to several hours (as memory permits).
-New double modulator pointers for increased accuracy.
-New global sample rate option to change the core program frequency. Projects and sounds remain compatible between sample rates and will automatically resample and remap, but all filters will need manual adjustment if resampling.
-New V01 file format for projects and programs. V00 format files will import seamlessly.
-New dynamically allocated floatutility and longutility variables for engines.
-New global transpose and tuning.
-New Revision number per project, incremented upon each save.
-Improved batch csv export to prevent infinite loops, and report if no files are found.
-Improved main wav loader to skip cue chunks.
-New Locate Usage option for samples and modulators will count all uses, and locate the next use, of the current sample or modulator.
-Lots of little bug fixes and improvements.
And more! The complete Bolt-On Bundle is live today too, with a 50% discount when purchasing all Bolt-On DLC. This will prepare the way for new preset/resource packs in 2025.
A 4th update this month to animation software Argus today. A few small bug fixes and repairs to how things work, and a few new features.
Changes in the last 4 updates include:
-A fix to render placement when starting a render from a non-zero origin.
-A fix to the check for exceeding texture or geometry frame when initialising 3D mode.
-Repaired the check to exclude consecutive texture frames or geometry frames if the option is ticked.
-Sequencer title bar now shows number of tracks in selection, if this is greater than 1.
-Windows will reset to default positions if the desktop resolution changes between sessions.
-Starting Argus with a film file (.agf) argument will now load the film, permitting a Window double-click of a film.
-And many more...
A little update to our animation software Argus today. Three little changes:
-A new light on Event List next to track name indicates custom name status. If lit, the track has a custom (manually entered) name and will not be auto-renamed. Can be clicked to re-enable auto-rename (or enter a blank name as before).
-A few new key alternatives for the Windows editor added: Keypad Enter for Kill event, Keypad Divide for Set Modulator, Keypad Multiply for Move with current parameters.
-A warning is now shown if trying to start 3D mode when no camera is active.
-Starting Argus with a film file (.agf) argument will now load the film, permitting a Window double-click of a film.
Argus is free to use in it's basic version, limited to 450 frames and 8 tracks. DLC can be purchased to expand frames and tracks to maximum. Find Argus here:
