[RELEASE] Flight Simulator: VR 2.0

Greetings everyone

Finally, I was able to finish and release Flight Simulator: VR 2.0. Update is available for free for everyone. Download it now and try it yourself!

What's new:

  • Expanded World (Terrain) sized at 54 km^2.
  • Improved Airport (Added objects)
  • Added Aiport A.I. (Roamers)
  • New Interactible Main Menu
  • Improved Physics (Airplane)
  • Cabin camera bug fix
  • General Optimization

Make sure to be in sitting position before starting the game, this way it should calibrate it all itself and make sure camera in the right position.

And probably something else. It's 3 a.m. here, phew.

Anyways, I still have a few things to improve/add, so I'll have another update/patch soon as well. Let me know how you are liking the update.

Cheers!

Flight Simulator: VR - Commercial License

Hi all,

Commercial license has been finally applied and ready to be purchased. This means if people want to use Flight Simulator: VR in a commercial setting, such as VR Arace, etc., can finally do that by subscribing to the commercial license.

Update 2.0 will be out by tonight/tomorrow - for sure!

Thanks everyone.

Flight Simulator 2.0

Greetings pilots,

We have great news for you. We are currently working on a better, polished and expanded version of the Flight Simulator: VR.

It will include:

  • Expanded world with a huge terrain.
  • Variety of planes.
  • Improved Airport/Landing areas.
  • Weather System.
  • And much more!

Update would be available within 2 weeks. Stay tuned! It will be amazing!

Cheers!

Hotas Support & More

Greetings everyone,

Before I begin, I would like to thank everyone for the patience. And I apologize that this update took so long to release.

As promised, Flight Simulator: VR finally has Thrustmaster Hotas support, along with Logitech, Microsoft, Mad Catz, Saitek Pro and CH Products flight controllers support.

PS: Start the game, play around with controls and let us know what you think. No detailed key mapping is available yet.

ALSO:

From now on you can use Vive controllers to change the location of your camera rig. Use Touchpad in oder to change your location. For example, look to the right and start lightly pressing on the touchpad to start moving.

This will hopefully fix the issue of being spawned outside of the cockpit and will give more power to the player. Let us know how you like/dislike it!

Aside from this main update, we have also:

* Removed static trees by the water and replaced them with real "SpeedTree" tress with LODs.
* Added more static vehilces to the scene (aircrafts/fuel trucks).
* Changed skybox with more realistic one.
* Minor bug fixes & optimization.

Hopefully this update will bring the joy to your gaming experience.

Disclaimer:

Only purchase this game if you want to support the developers and see the development progress itself. As it stated above, it currently supports xbox controllers only (and keyboard, if you wish to use). We would add extended support for Vive/Oculus controllers within a few weeks and we would like to hear your feedback. Do not purchase this game if you expect to play fully working flying simulator, because this game is currently in its early alpha.
