Since the launch, we've identified a few bugs that slipped through the cracks in our testing. Extra thanks to everyone who has given us a chance to fix things by reporting issues in the forums or directly to our email (hello@turbo-button.com).

Changes in Version 2.0.1.1120:

  • Backside Story: fixed an issue where the item inside the treasure chest could get stuck after unlocking it. If you ran into this bug, your save file will be fixed after downloading this update.
  • Backside Story: fixed an issue where water balloons from the dispenser could disappear and teleport to a different floor.
  • Backside Story: mitigated a separate issue where water balloons could fall through the floor and keep respawning forever. In the extremely rare case this happens, it will be fixed when reloading the level (and no longer cause the save file to be stuck). The cause is still under investigation for a future patch.
  • Backside Story: possible fix for an audio-related crash reported by some players during the outro sequence with Buster. If you still run into this after this update, please let us know!
  • Backside Story: increased resolution of some textures on PC version.
  • General: made it easier to grab the waist pouch after adjusting your height to be very tall in seated mode.

A new elevator and more is now available! Get the Backside Story update today.

Today we’re excited to launch Backside Story, a feature-length expansion now available in a free update for Floor Plan 2!

New elevator!

Backside Story features the most exciting elevator to date, with new puzzles, characters, and floors to explore. In fact, this expansion nearly doubles the total number of puzzles in Floor Plan 2! If you’ve been wanting more Floor Plan, you won’t be disappointed!

On your first return to Puzzl, the receptionist will direct you to check out something down the stairs in the lobby. If you are starting from a new save file, you can access Backside Story within about 10-15 minutes. Play up to the point where you enter the East Tower (the first elevator after the tutorial in the storefront), and the receptionist will have instructions for you when you return to the lobby.

New ways to play!

This update adds new standing and seated modes to the game, so you can grab and push anything from a distance and play the entire game in a small play space. Standing mode is the new default setting. If you wish to return to the roomscale control style from the previous version, you can do so in the options menu.

A note from the team

We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to Floor Plan 2 since the game launched back in 2021. Its success enabled us to make this new elevator much bigger than we initially planned, and we spent nearly two years making Backside Story the ultimate love letter to the game’s fans. We’re so happy to finally share it today! If you enjoy this expansion and want us to make more games like this in the future, please consider leaving a rating or review on Steam - it helps us a ton! Thanks for your support!

with love,
Turbo Button

Version 1.0.2.3 Patch Notes

Hello, PuzzPals!

Thank you so much for your incredible support since our launch last Thursday! Today we're releasing the first patch for Floor Plan 2 (v1.0.2.3) with a few improvements and bugfixes for some of the most commonly reported issues. We apologize for these issues if you ran into them, and hope you enjoy finishing the game!

Additionally, we now have a support site with extra hints and solutions at: www.turbo-button.com/floorplan2hints

Play Area Centering:

When playing with snap / smooth turn assist enabled, the play area can get off centered if you move around in the real world. We recommend only using snap / smooth turn for stationary play areas, and using the default settings (no turn assist) for roomscale play areas. In a future update, we're working on adding support for seated play to the game too.

Bugfixes and Improvements in v1.0.2.3:

  • Fixed some incorrect text that appeared when playing the game in Spanish, as well as a line that was incorrectly formatted in English.
  • When lost, items now recall to the edge of the play area instead of the center, making it easier to grab them without your waist pouch getting in the way.

Spoiler warning!

The following fixes may reveal parts of the game you haven't seen yet!

  • [East Elevator] Made it easier to take sunglasses off your face.
  • [East Elevator] Fixed the lasers in the bone case showing in the wrong position when the hatch door was fully slid open.

  • [West Elevator] Fixed an issue where the shoe could get stuck in the elevator when reloading from a save.
  • [CEO Office] Fixed an issue where Tammy could get stuck holding onto her hat if you put it back in her hand after she threw it away.
  • [CEO Office] Fixed an issue where items like the chalkboard could get stuck inside the CEO's desk or Bud's TV.
  • [CEO Office] The button on the game console now animates when pressed.
