New vehicle system, new models for vehicles and trailers and more 1.53

New Vehicle System


A brand new vehicle system has been introduced, replacing the old one. Key improvements include significantly better handling—vehicles are now much less likely to get stuck. Instead of using point traces for wheel collisions, we’re now using sphere collisions, giving driving over obstacles a much more realistic feel.

This new system also makes it faster and easier to add more vehicles in the future. On top of that, some vehicles now include new visual effects for drifting and burnouts.

New and Updated Vehicles


Here are some of the new vehicles added, as well as updates to existing ones:

Semi Truck – Replaces the old truck with a large trailer. You can now load it with pallets using a new small forklift that fits perfectly inside.





As seen in the screenshots, new builds are available that help with loading and unloading trailers. You’ll also notice two new light sources featured in the images.



New Products


Several new products have been added! Check the "Help" section in-game to learn how to produce them:

UI Improvements


Various updates have been made to improve the game's interface:

  • Production machine UI is now larger
  • New environmental UI added to machines with more detailed displays
  • Setting up a new product takes longer, but a minigame has been added to speed it up
  • Garbage truck UI now shows how much time remains before it returns
  • Vehicles can now be previewed while purchasing – zoom and rotate freely

  • More buildables now placeable on roads
  • Resources now spawn less frequently
  • New window conveyor extension for easier vehicle and trailer loading
  • Field ground visuals updated
  • Water and Fuel trailers/trucks have been unified into "Fluid Trailer" and "Fluid Truck" – usable with any fluid
  • New vehicle transport trailer added
  • You can now exit vehicles from either side (if one is blocked)
  • Forklift now includes an alternate camera attached to the fork for easier loading
  • Fixed drone pad infinite item issue
  • You can now rename vehicles (only those built on your property) for free via the Mechanic
  • Vehicle upgrades have been temporarily removed
  • Harvester reel is now universal for all crop types (for now)

Market Prices




All items that can be sold now have variable prices calculated based on their base price.
The default key binding to open the Market Prices is "N".



Food Dispensers






Food dispensers are located throughout the map. You can purchase them, stock them with your products - which will be sold automatically during the day. Later, you can return to collect the earnings.

Mining


The mine has been added to help players earn extra money alongside building factories and selling products. This feature is particularly useful for new players who may struggle with finances in the early stages of the game.




Resources


Resources are scattered across the map. You can mine, gather, or chop them when you find them and either convert them into materials using a Production Machine or sell them for quick profit.
