It won’t have any affect if you already own the game, you will still be able to play it.

Update + Trading cards
Hello Football Blitz Fans,
We want to make you happy by introducing Football Blitz Trading Cards. You can collect 5 cards, craft a badge, unlock cool backgrounds and emoticons.
Also we've made some changes with the newest update:
- We've completely rewritten the controllers system. Now every connected controller has it's own identification number which allows the controller to be persistent during game play even after being disconnected and connected again. The downside of this update is that if you previously changed the default mappings of the keyboard, you will need to remap them once again as the default settings were restored.
- Added a on game load screen which recommends playing Football Blitz with controllers.
- Fixed a bug where pausing a game in Assault mode caused the change of ball trail from red to yellow.
- Fixed a bug where ball trail is hidden when it's kicked out after tackling opponent.
- Added some additional sounds.
- Made some other small changes.
