FOOTBALL MANAGER 2018 OUT NOW
Football Manager Mobile 2018 is also available to sign-up from the App Store, Google Play and Amazon.
Football Manager Touch 2018 on iOS and Android tablets will be ready to download from November 24th.

Once you’ve made your signing you’re going to need to install it, here’s a simple how-to:
Steam Purchases
Steam do not issue digital install codes so when your purchase is complete your game will automatically appear in your Steam Library ready for install.
Boxed Copies
Your product code can be found on the white sticker above the disc. Once located:
1. Download the free Steam client
2. Open Steam and go to ‘+ADD A GAME’ in the bottom-left of the window
3. Select ‘Activate a Product on Steam’
4. Enter your product code and follow the instructions to begin installation
If your machine doesn’t have a disc drive you can still activate using the above steps without the disc.
Digital Purchases
If you’ve pre-purchased a product code from a digital provider, your code should have been sent to you via email and you will need to follow the instructions below to activate:
1. Download the free Steam client:

3. Select ‘Activate a Product on Steam’
4. Enter your product code and follow the instructions to begin installation
If you haven’t received or have misplaced your code, please speak to your retailer as a starting point. If they can’t resolve your issue then please get in touch with SEGA customer services at help@sega.co.uk with proof of purchase and they will aim to get you playing as quickly as possible.
Early Access Beta owners
For those who have been enjoying the pre-release betas, simply quit and restart Steam and your game will automatically update to the full version. Any single-player career progress you made during the beta can be carried forward when your game is finished updating.
If you experience any install or troubleshooting issues or think you’ve spotted a bug or data issue, please post your issue on the Football Manager 2018 Bugs Forum in the relevant section and one of our QA team will get back to you at first opportunity.
Football Manager 2018 18.0.3 Update OUT NOW!
As always you need to quit out of Football Manager and restart Steam to be sure of downloading the update. The update is save game compatible allowing you to carry on with any careers you may have already started.
As with the original Early Access Beta, this update contains no Pre-Game or In-Game Editor, the generated player & staff portraits are still disabled and no there's Steam Workshop. These will all be made available on the full release of the game on November 10th.
Change list includes (but is not limited to) the following:

- Further stability fixes
- Improvements to slowdown and lag found in game
- In-match sounds now play across entire match and in commentary only mode
- Removal of incorrect Hz display setting preferences
Graphics and UI
- Fixes to Retina Mac
- Fix to white screen appearing on launch
- Processing panel now appears with correct information
- Fixtures on the processing panel no longer overlapping other text
- Pitch image used in news and inbox items now appearing correctly
- Social feed and inbox items appearing correctly when scrolling
- Added condition & match sharpness numerical values to match tactics screen
Match
- Improved Set Piece default settings, AI and Positioning
- Ball Visibility / Change Ball Option now available
- Director Camera Tweaks
- Improvements to match display in low settings
- Fixed players figures appearing all in black incorrectly
- Fixed score divergence in hotseat matches
- Tweaked Additional Time Level
- Goalkeepers not wearing outfield kits
- Show/disable condition option now working in matches
- Red chequered flags no longer appearing
Gameplay
- Scouting reports no longer showing minus days
- Cancel scouting assignment working correctly when used on scouted player
Please bear in mind this version of the beta is still a work in progress and do raise any issues you come across with the game. As stated above there are other fixes that won’t be included in this list, so please do check within the game before asking about them on the official Sports Interactive forums.

Football Manager 2018 18.0.2 Hotfix OUT NOW!
You will need to quit out of Football Manager and restart Steam in order to download and install the update.
The update includes the following changes:
- Stability fixes
- Added new preference for "data language", allowing you to have game text in one language, and the in-game data in another language
- Added zoom functionality to 2D Classic
- Improved pitch lighting in 2D Classic
- Improvements to game speed and fluidity
- Enabled Online Career and Fantasy Draft modes
We appreciate everyone who's taken the time to raise any issues with us so far. As stated in the original beta build notes, there are some other issues we've been made aware of which we're currently investigating for full release. If you come across any of the following please don't feel like you need to raise them with us on our bugs forum.

- Fixtures can occasionally overlap on processing panel
- Social feed can bleed if scrolling
MATCH
- Default attacking corner routines lacking variation
- Some red & checkered flags showing in crowd
- Camera height can reset on game reboot
- Unable to disable in-match condition icon
GAMEPLAY
- AI sometimes offer £0 for a player offered to clubs with an asking price
- Too many loan rumours in the social feed
- Player can incorrectly receive Dynamics boost due to incorrectly registered international appearance
- Assistant may not arrange youth team friendlies when instructed to do so if there are no competitive matches
FOOTBALL MANAGER 2018 BETA
As ever, any career progress you make during the Beta will carry forward when the game updates upon full release, on November 10th.
The data editor, Online game modes, Fantasy Draft, the Steam workshop and FM store will only be available with full release and won’t be active as part of the Beta.
If you haven’t pre-purchased Football Manager 2018 yet, you can get immediate Beta access by purchasing from a participating retailer.
Digital pre-purchase (Steam)
If you pre-purchased from Steam your Beta download should automatically start when you launch the game from your Steam Library.
Digital pre-purchase (non-Steam)
If you pre-purchased from any other participating digital provider, your code should have been sent to you via email** and you will need to follow the instructions below to activate:
1. Download and/or open the Steam client
2. On the top toolbar, click 'Games’
3. Select 'Activate a Product on Steam'
4. Follow the instructions and input your code to install the FM18 Beta
The final thing to say before you get your first taste of Football Manager 2018, is that this is not the finished article and certain aspects of game play may well change ahead of full release on November 10th. If you do spot any issues, we want to know about them, so please report them immediately on our forum.
