The Microsoft Store version will follow at a later date.
The update is save game compatible allowing you to continue your existing managerial careers while benefiting from these changes.
If you encounter any problems downloading and installing, we recommend restarting Steam/Epic, or by manually checking for updates if you’re playing through the Microsoft Store..

How We’ve Improved the In-Game Editor for FM23
Nearly all football managers rely on tools to help assist them during their career. Some use cutting-edge technology to crunch data, while others make do with an old-fashioned pen and paper. For Football Manager 2023 we’ve listened to calls from our community to increase the power available to you via our Pre-Game and In-Game Editor.
10 Wonderkids With New Homes In Football Manager 2023
While Football Manager 2023 won’t be fully released until November 8th, we know that many of you are already thinking long and hard about where your journey will start. You’ll be thinking about how you can make the most of the new Recruitment tools and when you’ll get to experience those big European nights under the lights for the first time.
One thing that will have changed from FM22 are the names at the top of most Wonderkid shopping lists. Many of those that have caught our eyes in recent years have also impressed real-life scouts and managers, so much so that they secured big moves over the summer months.
The time has arrived – Football Manager 2023 is out now.
PC and Mac users can download and play FM23 now from Steam, Epic Games and the Microsoft Store. Those of you who’ve been enjoying the FM23 Early Access Beta on Epic or Steam can simply quit and restart the relevant launcher and the game will update to the full release build. All single-player progress made in the Beta will automatically carry forward.
Fans purchasing physical copies of FM23 will notice that this year’s edition does not include a disc. Instead, every pack contains a unique code that, once redeemed, enables play via Steam, Epic Games or the Microsoft Store.
Removing the disc and notebook from this year’s edition, in addition to further refinements to our eco-packaging, means that the overall carbon footprint for FM23’s packaging is 47% lower than FM22’s.
The release also marks a debut for the Football Manager series, with FM23 Touch stepping out onto the pitch through Apple Arcade.
Following last year’s success, FM23 and FM23 Console are available with Xbox Game Pass from launch. As such, all Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start their careers on PC or Console* from Day One at no extra cost.
Completing the squad for this season, Football Manager 2023 Touch (Nintendo Switch™) is also now live on the Nintendo eShop and FM23 Mobile is available for download from the App Store and Google Play. Those who pre-ordered on iOS devices will be able to play immediately.
The release of the PlayStation 5 version of Football Manager™ 2023 Console will be later than planned due to unforeseen complications which have arisen during the submissions and approvals process. SEGA and Sports Interactive will update on this matter at the earliest opportunity.

Football Manager 2023 Early Access Beta Minor Update Out Now
We've just released a minor update for the Football Manager 2023 Early Access Beta, which directly addresses the player's attribute development progression issue.
This update is save game compatible, meaning you don't need to start a new save game for the fix to take effect.
The update should download and install automatically. If it does not, we recommend restarting Steam or the Epic launcher.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone within the community who has taken the time to leave us feedback or raise an issue with us so far. It's been extremely informative and is helping us continue to shape the game before the full release of Football Manager 2023 on November 8th.

Football Manager 2023 Early Access Beta Available Now
It’s time to start your journey to footballing glory – Football Manager 2023 Beta (PC/Mac) is now available to play early on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Early Access via the Microsoft Store will follow at a later date.
If you’ve pre-purchased from a SEGA-approved digital retailer, FM23 Beta is now fully playable**. You can kick-off a single-player managerial career or battle for bragging rights with your friends in an Online Career, Fantasy Draft or the FMFC-exclusive Versus mode. As with previous editions, any progress made in Career mode can be carried forward when your game updates to full release on Tuesday, 8th November.
FM23 will remain available to pre-purchase, with 20% off and Beta Early Access, up until full release.
FM23 – What to Expect
FM23 is our most authentic and immersive title to-date and experienced players will notice new features, game upgrades and optimisations immediately.
This is a Beta and not the full game. As such you may encounter some bugs and glitches that our developers will be working tirelessly to fix before full release.
Your feedback is essential to this process – if you find any issues, please use the Report Bug button located on the in-game sidebar. You can also log them on our community forums.

PURCHASES FROM ANY OTHER PARTICIPATING DIGITAL RETAILER Your retailer should have sent you a confirmation email with a code, or a link to redeem your code which can be activated on Steam by following the instructions below: 1. Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account or create a new, free account 2. Click the Games Menu 3. Choose Activate a Product on Steam 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process
