Hi! I've been working for quite some time now on my next game. It's a small relaxing game about driving a boat with on-screen controls. It's inspired by A Short Hike and Smile for Me. You can play a small demo of it if you want!

Arena/Endless Rework
Arena and Endless mode now reworked.
You are picking one buff at a time time now. After you get >8 buffs/debuffs every next stage is gonna disable random buff and debuff.
Added few Arena variations (objects and visuals). More stuff is coming.

Current state of the game and plans
Hi! It's almost a year since Force Reboot launched in Early Access. But I still want to work and add new stuff to Force Reboot thanks to u guys! Here's update that I've been working on. Also I wanted to say sorry for not publishing anything new. Part of the reason is that I was working on a demo for my new game called Completely Fictional Story About a City Inside a Whale. It's coming really soon! But for now you can play this new update.
Major content update is coming later this autumn. I'm planning to add new zone, few enemies, new arena map and hopefully few new tracks. And yes, I still want to add at least one BOSS (Yeap, I know that I already told u that I wanted to add new enemies and arena map in this update, but I still decided to divide two updates just to test new stuff that I added in this update and work a bit more on new content). if you want your tracks to be added in Force Reboot just text about it under this post and I contact with u <3
Current update:
In this update I tried to fix major problem that I have with a game. And this problem was that players didn't really needed to use movement options like dashes, jumps and slides. I completely reworked SPEED MULTIPLIER system. In order to gain multiplier you need to combine different movement options and kills. Multiplier won't increase if you constantly spamming one of the options (Like always sliding for example).
I also tried to add controller support but due to my shitty coding in past it turn out to be problematic. I'm still planning to add it for Full Release but now right now.
Other features:

Added options to change tracks in different modes
Added weak points for all enemies
Added reflection tutorial note
Added EIN THE FROG (you can find him at the Start)

Buffs and Debuffs:
Random weapon every room - DEBUFF
Heal from traps - BUFF
No weak points - DEBUFF
Hitting weak points has chance to heal player - BUFF
Slippy Movement - DEBUFF
25% chance to automatically reload after kill - BUFF
Reworked:
Railgun is based on speed multiplier now and it's also 2x time faster
Fists damage is increased 2x times (I know that it's not fixing Fists but it's least I can do for now)
Cloud speed at Stage Three is increased
SMG spread increased
Camera movement is changed a bit
Fixes:
Timer is not adding time on pause now
No more fps drops after quiting to menu
Fixed "Faster" achievement (it was 2 minutes not 3)

Update Announcement
Hi! After the last update, I switched to other projects and have been working on them all this time. I needed a break to get back to Force Reboot and figure out what to do next.
I'm planning to release a big update in July-August. It will include rebalance of old guns, new weapons, new arena map, skills, controller support and other minor changes. and small frog (hey Ein) Initially, I planned to make 3 game zones and release the game, but many players wanted more so now I am now actively thinking about a new zone and enemies. Just like last time I am striving to give a different gaming experience from the other zones, and it may take time.
I have also decided to remove the demo from Steam soon. This version of the game will still remain on the Itch.io page, but in Steam it rather confuses the player because of the strong difference in quality between the demo and the paid version of the game.
Many players have noted that the game may cost more than the current price at this point, so I will consider a small $1 or $2 price increase after I can assess the scope of the future update.
In the meantime, you can get Force Reboot with 50% off deal this summer sale!

And now let's talk about the game. I'm really happy that most of you guys enjoyed the Third Stage. And right now I am wondering what I should do next. Next month or two I would spend on polishing everything I got here and trying to improve game experience and flow(and bug fixes ofc). I'm planning to add more perks related to RailGun and Fists and make it more usable in the game, also I know about movement issues and I want to work more on it. Another thing is perks related to movement and speed, I already got some ideas and would prototype it a bit later. Some new weapons and enemies are also in development.
But most importantly I wanted to ask you guys. What do you want next?
