Fort Meow is 33% off during the Steam Autumn Sale. So if you were hanging on for a deal before grabbing the game, or just want to let a friend know about it, please do!
Patch 1.1 has also been made live and introduces Challenge Mode.
Challenge Mode is unlocked after finishing the Story Mode (or via the options menu). It is an endless wave-based game mode and pits you against ever-increasing challenging waves of feline fury.
There are a bunch of rewards to unlock as you level up, including some cool costume pieces that give you bonuses during Challenge Mode, as well as some cool alternative cat skins (...or cat types, because cat skins sounds weird).
This should increase the replayability of the game by a bunch. I know a lot of you were asking for something more after finishing the story, let's hope this helps!
A bunch of bugs have also been squished, but it's a lot of behind the scenes stuff, so nothing too noticeable.

Fort Meow - Version 1.1.0 Beta Testing!
Hello Fort Meow players!
Hope you are all well and have enjoyed playing the game over the past few months.
Anyway, I've been hard at work adding some new content to the game and would love if some of you could give the beta a test run to see if you can find any last minute issues before I push it live.
Please report any bugs you may find, or feedback you have in the forums and I'll try to respond asap!
To opt into the beta, please follow the instructions in the image below. Please also remember to back up your current save file by copying the contents of the Fort Meow "Data" directory, usually found at "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Fort Meow\Data". Be sure to copy the contents of the folder, not cut, or you will remove the files the game needs to load your currently saved game.
Once your data is backed up (this step is optional, but it's always good to be safe!) - follow the steps below, install the beta, and fire up the game!
Right click Fort Meow in your Library
Click the Properties option in the dropdown menu
Navigate to the Betas tab
In the dropdown list, select the beta version.
After applying this option, Steam should automatically download the beta version.
Once in game, if you have finished the single player story mode you should see the new challenge mode appear. If you haven't yet finished the story mode but still want to play, you can unlock challenge mode in the options menu (cog icon in the top right).

Mobile Progress
For those who are interested - Rhys has been making minor updates to the iOS version of Fort Meow, and is looking at bringing the game to Android devices in the future. When we've got a timeline for that, we'll let you all know - but it's also worth noting that the game is also discounted on the Apple App Store.
New Surprise Attack Games Releases
Just a quick shout out to some new games we have released recently, that you may want to check out.
Dungeon League burst onto Early Access just over a month ago, and is coming along nicely. If you like local competitive multiplayer games, you may want to check it out.
Hacknet has had a huge launch, with thousands of players logging into HacknetOS and diving down the rabbit hole of our terminal-based hacking simulator. It's a lot of fun, you should check it out if you're a fan of Mr. Robot or Uplink!
