We’ve revised our Forza Code of Conduct to provide more clarity and ensure consistency and fairness in our policies. Here are the changes you need to know.
Our Forza Code of Conduct – previously known as Forza Enforcement Guidelines – has been designed to preserve and promote a safe, secure, inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone in the Forza community. Over the years, we’ve heard your feedback about these policies and how they could be improved.
At Turn 10, our philosophy around enforcement in Forza is to be consistent and fair, ensuring that each player report is handled with the upmost integrity and scrutiny. That means we remain firm in permanently suspending bad actors who, for example, promote hate speech, or make credible threats of violence. However, we believe a newer player who accidentally performs a smaller violation of unsportsmanlike conduct can be given more flexibility. The end goal should result in us continuing to make the game as clean and safe as possible for everybody, while giving players the opportunity to course correct and show that they can contribute positively to our community.
Starting today, we’re making some important changes to our Forza Code of Conduct to ensure our players have the clarity they need to inform themselves of what they can and cannot do in our games. It's also important that enforcement matches the violation, allowing players suspended for less severe incidents the chance to improve their behavior as they are reintegrated into the community.
We understand that for newer players especially, you may not be fully familiar with our rules. After all, the policies that apply to a Forza game aren’t necessarily the same as every other game you’ve played. To alleviate this, first time non-extreme violations of our Forza Code of Conduct will now receive a warning. This ensures that the player is aware of their previous action, and that it’s forbidden in Forza games.
We’re also significantly changing how suspensions and bans are considered. We’re replacing the former three-strike system with new categories of violations, because after all, the enforcement action should be in accordance with the type of offense. In addition, we’ve received feedback from players that the first suspensions are oftentimes too harsh, therefore we’re reducing this from seven days to one day for lower severity violations. Of course, the length of suspensions or even permanent bans is dependent on how extreme the violation is and the number of previous offenses.
These updates to enforcement apply to Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport once released. Forza Horizon 4 and legacy Forza titles will remain on the prior enforcement system.
These changes have been thoughtfully considered with a focus on clarity and fairness for our players. We hope that they inspire more confidence in our future enforcement decisions, while upholding the highest standards of safety in our Forza community.

Welcome to the second week of Midnights at Horizon here in Mexico! Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure has been available for one week and the community is already mastering all facets of rally driving across our most challenging and exciting roads in Forza Horizon history.
This week’s new reward car on the Festival Playlist is the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, the larger, more extreme, and even faster sibling of the Blackwing duo. This V8-powered sports sedan is what automotive dreams are made of, pushing 668-horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque so it can go beyond 200mph. With racing-inspired trimming such as a low-level spoiler for high downforce, there’s no lifting this car off the asphalt.

Rewards in the New Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure
With the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure ready to play let’s take a moment to check out the new car and cosmetic rewards that you can grab while you're kicking up dust in Sierra Nueva.
Car Rewards
Players can obtain 11 cars by completing Reputation Challenges for each of the rally teams. This includes the 10 all-new off-road rally monsters featured in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure and the legendary 1986 Audi #2 Audi Sport quattro S1 returning from the Horizon Wilds Takeover.
Here’s a breakdown of what you need to do to unlock each vehicle:
2001 #4 Ford Focus RS – Complete the initial drive in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.
2021 Alumicraft #122 Class 1 Buggy: Rank 9 – Win “Desafio” track (Ambassador Race vs Ramiro).
2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum: Rank 9 – Win the “Horizon Badlands Goliath” track (unlocked by beating all Ambassadors).
While your initial team choices will influence which of these vehicles you get to drive first, by the time you’re the Horizon Rally Champion, you’ll have unlocked them all!
Make your character look the part in Sierra Nueva with new clothing items representing the Horizon Rally teams. These include new helmets, tops, trousers, scarves and mechanic outfits that feature the colors of the Apex Predators, Horizon Raptors and Grit Reapers.
These are unlocked in the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure career by completing Reputation Challenges, while select items will also be featured on the limited-time Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist.

As noted above, to play Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure you will need to download both the latest game update and the expansion separately. Once installed, you can load into the game and begin the Horizon Badlands Expedition by accessing the Rally Adventure icon on the northwest coast of the game map in Dunas Blancas.
Players who are brand-new to Forza Horizon 5 will need to complete the initial experience of the base game before travelling to Sierra Nueva. This includes the first drive to the Horizon Festival, the creation of your character and selecting a starter car, the first Showcase Event featuring the Cargo Plane, and completing either of the first two available Horizon Story chapters.
Once the Horizon Badlands Expedition is completed, you can access the Sierra Nueva map through the Pause Menu at any time. Fast Travel is free and immediately available to those who own the Buenas Vistas Player House in Mexico. Players have access to their full garage in Sierra Nueva and can begin exploring the new map and career in their favorite cars without any class restrictions.

Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure introduces players to an all-new rally career. In the first hour of gameplay, familiarize yourself with all three rally teams as you get a flavor of asphalt, dirt and night racing in Sierra Nueva. Each team has a dedicated captain who will be your co-driver in events.
Captained by Alejandra, the Apex Predators are all about the asphalt in Road Rally. Alex leads the Horizon Raptors ready to kick up the dust in Dirt Rally. Finally, as the Grit Reapers ambassador, Ramiro will put that dramatic helicopter spotlight to use in Night Rally.
Once you’ve experienced the first rally of all three teams, you’ll choose your starter team. Each unlocks new events and challenges, featuring a dedicated progression tree with nine Reputation Ranks and unique rewards. Completion of Reputation Challenges will contribute to unlocking new events, rewards and the invites to join the other rally teams.
Once Reputation Rank 8 and eight race victories have been achieved in each team’s career, the associated head-to-head Ambassador Race is unlocked. Beating the team captain rewards the player with their car, while winning all three unlocks the Horizon Badlands Goliath, where you can race to become the Horizon Rally Champion and drive home in the all-electric 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum.
Leave Your Mark
Sierra Nueva introduces several new biomes to explore including the town of Pueblo Artza, a huge Abandoned Quarry perfect for some Gymkhana action, epic deformable Sand Dunes, the tight and twisting Desert Gorge, rolling Green Hills, and an entirely smashable Palm Forest. You’ll even find the remote village of Cráteres Secos nestled into a breathtaking crater! These biomes will change every week as seasonal rotations occur and bring new weather changes, just like on Mexico.
With a great mix of asphalt and off-road tracks, Sierra Nueva features a drivable area of 6.25 miles squared – that's 16.2km squared – with 38 miles (61km) of roads full of unpredictable adverse-camber turns, blind crests and thrilling asphalt jumps. Over the years rally drivers have put Sierra Nueva through its pace and this is nowhere better reflected than in the rugged deformable sand roads interwoven with pre-deformed tire tracks. As deformable surfaces are driven over repeatedly, they accrue multiple tire tracks and trails. Tire tread is visible in these deformed tracks while the deformation-width is adjusted based on the car’s speed, tire size and steering angle.
Meanwhile, sand trails kicked up by vehicles can be seen in the far distance, so you can spot the work of other drivers that are miles away! It also persists for longer with shadows and camera-lens accumulation as you drive through it. These dust plumes are physics-driven and result in the most complex weather effect in a Forza Horizon game.
Horizon Rally Modes
All events in Sierra Nueva feature two distinct flavors of off-road racing: Horizon Rally and Horizon Race. Both modes do not enforce car restrictions.
Horizon Rally is a race against the clock. Follow your co-driver's pace notes and drive as fast as possible through the four split gates that are placed at around each 20% interval of the track. The co-driver is on standby from the Horizon Rally Helicopter, which dynamically follows the car and provides audio-visual callouts like upcoming turn and obstacle alerts. Hold up, did they say Chicken?
Each split-gate crossed is accompanied by a notification to highlight where you’re currently positioned on the leaderboard stage. Here's how to interpret these colors:
Red: You have lost a position relative to other competitors.
Orange: You have maintained your position.
Green: You have improved your position.
Light Green: You are in first place.
Horizon Rally events can be played in co-op with collisions disabled. For a more immersive rally experience, disable the Rally Driving Line option in the driving assists menu. This separate toggle only applies to Horizon Rally events. You can also further spruce up the challenge by increasing the AI difficulty or the PI class of your car.
Secondly, there’s Horizon Race – the racing action you already know and love from the Horizon Festival. Only this time, you’re taking on a pack of rally drivers on the thrilling roads of Sierra Nueva. Race against Drivatars or other players with collisions enabled. This mode does not feature the co-driver or helicopter.
Race Events and PR Stunts
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure features the largest number of racing events of any Horizon expansion, and in Sierra Nueva, this means the most thrilling routes in Horizon history, so buckle up.
Here’s a look at the new Horizon Rally and Horizon Race events with all routes also supported in Rivals:
Head-to-Head: 3 Ambassador Races with mixed surface cross-country events.
Goliath Race featuring a mix of asphalt and dirt surfaces.
Here’s the breakdown of the 20 new PR Stunts:
5 Speed Traps: Unlocked through Apex Predators.
5 Speed Zones: Unlocked through Apex Predators.
5 Danger Signs: Unlocked through Horizon Raptors.
5 Drift Zones: Unlocked through Grit Reapers.
With the Midnights at Horizon series, new Rally Adventure events will be added to the Festival Playlist. These will include a Seasonal Championship and PR Stunt every week and are unlocked upon completion of the Horizon Badlands Goliath.
Look out for new smashable objects in Sierra Nueva including the Horizon Raptors Pinata Trucks at day and the Grit Reapers Crates at night, both of which respawn, as well as the Apex Predators Promotion Boards. There are 30 of these scattered around the map and they do not respawn once smashed!
Multiplayer
Horizon Open, Horizon Tour and Rivals are all available to enjoy in Sierra Nueva. Join a Horizon Open or Rivals event through the Rally Adventure tab in the Pause Menu. Go to the Horizon Tour icon located in the center-right area of the map to team-up with fellow players and race a team of Drivatars.
Horizon Open features available in Sierra Nueva include Badges, Open Racing, Custom Racing and Leaderboards. The custom filters include Road and Dirt with class options for Any, S2, S1, A, and B. All the Rally Adventure routes mentioned above are present in Horizon Open.
Create A Rally Monster
New features introduced in the Midnights at Horizon series update – available free for all Forza Horizon 5 players – allow you to build the rally machine of your wildest dreams.
Look out for all-new rally parts and body kits, adjustable Tire Profile Size on select vehicles to fit massive wheel arches, and an anti-lag system that delivers more power to turbocharged engines while producing spectacular flame effects and fire-cracker audio. Players can also enable launch control as a new driving assist to ensure a perfect start in both rally and drag racing!

Earn 20 PTS during Week 1 “Summer” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Mar. 30 – Apr. 6.
Since the Rimac Concept Two first debuted in Forza Horizon 4 in 2019, the Forza community has pushed this incredible 1,914-horsepower hypercar to the limit and defined new levels of speed. Now it’s time to see how the production model propels the driving experience to the next level. Considered the fastest electric production car in the world, the Rimac Nevera – the name derived from the Croatian language word to describe the unexpected short-burst lightning storms that occur along the Adriatic Coast in summer – set a record-breaking top speed of 258mph (412kph) in November 2022.
Rimac had already simulated this impressive figure for its C-Two in 2018 while it was in active development, however it was Miro Zrnčević, Rimac’s Chief Test and Development Driver, who achieved the same unprecedented speed in the real-world four years on. While 150 units of the Nevera are destined for the production line in Zagreb, their top speed is reduced to a still impressive 219mph (352kph). Its full potential can be unlocked by Rimac for special events in controlled environments. This process involves fitting new specialized tires, an essential upgrade for safely achieving higher speeds.
Also established as the world’s fastest accelerating production car, the Nevera with its four Rimac-designed electric motors can reach 0-60mph in just 1.85 seconds, and blast beyond 100mph in 4.3 seconds. It even features a “Drift Mode” that disables the front motors to allow the car to drift. This feature is available in Forza Horizon 5 and is accessible in the same way as race mode and convertible options on other vehicles, by pushing in the Left Stick. Now the only question that remains is what speed record Forza fans will set on the Mexican highway once they’re seated behind the wheel.
2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
Earn 20 PTS during Week 2 “Autumn” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 6 – Apr. 13.
As the larger, more extreme and even faster sibling of the Blackwing duo, the Cadillac CT5-V is the V8-powered sports sedan that automotive dreams are made of. Its high-performance numbers are simply astounding with 668-horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. That means it’s fast, very fast actually. For top speed, the CT5-V breaks the 200mph barrier, while Car and Driver testing has penned in the 0-60mph statistic at 3.6 seconds, with the 100mph target coming in at 7.7 seconds. That’s almost two seconds faster than the CT4-V! It’s also sporting the same racing-inspired trimming as its smaller counterpart to deliver incredible downforce and ensure a smooth and nimble drive. Simply put, there’s no lifting this one off the asphalt, until it takes on the more elevated terrain of Forza Horizon 5’s landscapes of course.
2021 Lexus LC 500
Earn 20 PTS during Week 3 “Winter” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 13– Apr. 20. This car features an optional Liberty Walk (LB Holdings Co., Ltd) body kit.
The Lexus LC has been in production since 2017 and has iteratively evolved with each model since then. The 2021 spec trims down on the weight and improves the suspension system to ensure the car feels more connected to the road, offering a more robust and stable driving experience while retaining the luxurious looks and feel that Lexus is known for. In fact, the “LC” stands for “Luxury Coupe,” and the line itself replaced the SC, which was formerly Lexus’ luxury car of choice from 1991 until 2010. Also new for 2021 is cornering assist with braking control, so you can maximize its 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 with confidence. Producing 471-horsepower and 398 lb-ft. of torque at its peak, the LC achieves 0-60mph in only 4.4 seconds and remains a testament to Lexus’ focus of elegance in driving.
2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing
Earn 20 PTS during Week 4 “Spring” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 20 – Apr. 27.
The successor to the beloved Cadillac ATS-V is here. With both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive platforms available and a 3.6-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine under the hood, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is the next must have addition to your Forza Horizon 5 garage. Or perhaps that title belongs to the more formidable CT5-V Blackwing, which is also coming to the game. Both are excellent choices for cruising and racing around Mexico’s asphalt roads, and with a low-level spoiler and launch control on each, they’re also the perfect choice for drag racing. Power wise, the CT4-V delivers 472-horsepower with 445 lb-ft of torque, which means, according to Car and Driver testing, it can go from standstill to 60mph in 4 seconds, and to 100mph in 9.4 seconds. Cadillac estimates a top speed of 189mph. It’s a mean machine in a smaller package to the CT5-V, which makes it ideal for just about everything.
