Gameplay
- Introduced three Game Modes: Story, Standard and Challenge
- Story focuses on the plot, with far easier battles
- Standard focuses on both story and battles (build 1.0.0 difficulty)
- Challenge focuses on battles and knowledge of the game features. Extra money and Lusts will be gained during this mode
- A new event and related boss fight after The End of Good Ending, on Challenge Mode
- Introduced the New Game+ feature
- Added two new trophies
- Improved overall monsters' behavior, statistics rebalanced and added more different skill effects depending on game mode
- Graphical improvements, such as new icons for monsters and Pains
- Save interface improved, now displaying playtime, money and chapters completed
- File load and deletion are now available in save points
- Added a save point in Emporium, during Final Chapter
- Important choices selection, like save points and rematches, improved
- Characters crit chance slightly improved
- Combo deals slightly more damage
- Anne's Test Tube+2 now has a chance to decrease Pain resistance, instead of increasing odds.
- Canes and Test tubes now specify that the damage dealt scales with enemy's RES
- Some important plot sentences are now highlighted in pink
New Game +
- A NG+ save point appears after completing Bad or Good Ending
- NG+ carries over collected cards
- Story events will be skippable
- Full OST will be playable by talking to Undreamed band
- Optional choice to carry over side-quests progress
- A new scene with Alexis
Strategy Guide DLC will also be updated, with six new pages focused on Story, Challenge and the new boss battle.

Thanks to your feedback, we're ready to release a first big game's update full of improvements.
Build 1.0.1 new features:
Fixes:
- Minor typo errors adjusted
- Minor graphic improvements
- Some few sentences and enemy abilities were not translated in Italian
- Fixed a little issue with theater headlights, while choosing chapters
- Judgement's scale texts adjusted, in Arthur's 4th chapter
- Ammit's card name now appears after her defeat, when talking to Zzem
- Undertaker's riddle 2nd and 3rd retries have been adjusted, in Michael's 4th chapter
Adds:
- Some waiting times between events are now shorter, like in the Theater
- Loading image Take a seat... replaced by a pink Loading... image
- E key tutorial, for Options and Back to Title menu, is now explained in the Introduction Chapter
- After pressing E, you'll also be able to read a complete list of the game's tutorials. Those will be unlocked while playing
- Cathrine can now enter the basement directly, from 2nd Chapter onward
- Alexis can now enter the Shop of Wishes directly, in Final Chapter
- Requested items delivered to the Duke are now marked with an V, while talking to him
- After delivering 8 items, the Duke tells you that <>
- The Duke's walking stick now appears during event in Emporium
- Card read is faster, and list begins from n. 1
- Power-up menus ask you directly which character do you want to strengthen
- Before Lusts' sacrifice, power-ups now describe: number increases for stats; new effects for abilities
- Maxed out stats and abilities now have a related message after last power-up
- Maxed out stats and abilities will now disappear from selection list, in both Tsed and Inis menus. Maxed character's names are disabled, but viewable in a dark gray
- Tsed will describe you statistics' purposes through a small tutorial, if you ask him to
- Completed story arcs now are disabled (character's name is in gray) from selection list, in the Domlion Theater

Gayming LIVE 2022
Gayming LIVE Online replaces the original Gayming LIVE planned for July in Brooklyn.
The three-day free event will run through September 9 to 11 highlighting LGBTQ+ video game and geek culture via a full schedule of free Twitch streams and ask me anything sessions on Twitter Spaces.
Alongside the three-day weekend, Gayming will also be running a two-week indie game festival on Steam from September 2 through 16. This will celebrate over 50 LGBTQ indie games and give players and fans the chance to discover new favorites alongside some older classics.
And Frail Hearts: Versicorae Domlion is honored to be a part of this great and very important event!
