FREUD, FREUD, WHY ARE YOU FREUD?
Jewish by birth, intellectual, and cynical, Sigmund Freud is the epitome of the rebel genius.
After years of fruitless study of the fish's nervous system, his formidable intuition led him to devise a therapeutic method for treating neurosis: psychoanalysis.
Lying on his couch, in the smoky silence of his Viennese study, Freud listened to the streams of consciousness of his neurotic, hysterical, manic-depressive patients... gripped by incredible and inexplicable symptoms: paralysis of the limbs, mutism, hallucinations, recurring dreams.
Through his method, worthy of an archaeologist, he digs, interpret symbols, and reveals the root of the patients' torments, freeing them. But Freud is also, and above all, a man in existential crisis, plagued by doubts, fears of the Nazis, confusion about who he really is and IF he is REALLY ONLY a sorcerer or if he himself is neurotic.
Lashing out and stubborn, it will be hard to help him understand what is tormenting him...but in the meantime, we take control of his life and mind in FREUD'S BONES.
