Content



  • Trait: Communist - You don't receive passive Gold income but you get 1 Gold for every {THRESHOLD} Gold that other players receive.

    You can lower the Gold threshold in the shop.

This update brings the first implementation of controller support!
Additionally, you now have more control over AFK mode and Steam will now display what you are doing in-game!
I was trying to test it thoroughly but my controllers gave me a BSOD so it's marked as "unfinished" for now.

Content



  • Implemented Unity's input system
  • First (unfinished) implementations of gamepad controls
  • Bots are now able to use the shop
  • Added AFK config. Allow or disallow the game automatically using items and the shop while you are AFK
  • Implemented Steam rich presence so friends can see your game's state!

Balancing



  • Hoarder buffed: Now also receives double items from bought supply crates
  • Swap item cost increased:
    100Gold, 2Death Coins => 150Gold, 2Death Coins

Changes



  • Tab list is now rendered in front of win screen
  • Games should now start with activated auto camera when a gamepad is connected
  • Moved win position text to the right of the player info
  • Selected UI objects are now better highlighted
  • While target selection is active, the item popup is now semi-transparent
  • Improved option selections (like the max player count in the lobby) to be selectable and usable with a keyboard or gamepad
  • Auto cam now works with item target selection
  • Auto cam will now follow moving units
  • Auto cam now watches bomb explosions
  • Auto cam now follows hopper mines and watches their explosions
  • Auto cam now always watches dying units

Fixes



  • Fast roll now works with multiple dice
  • Potentially fixed a status effect visual bug
  • Fixed dice roll sometimes being triggered when clicking over UI
  • Units will now always lose invisibility when respawning
  • Hopper mine should now hopefully remove all danger markers after exploding

  • Rewrote status effects and player status effects for more flexibility of future effects
  • Rewrote invincibility to remove hardcoding for shield and shield bubbles and have more flexibility
  • Rewrote invisibility to remove hardcoding and increase flexibility
  • Reworked when units can't move to remove hardcoding and increase flexibility
  • Reworked move count multipliers to remove hardcoding and increase flexibility
  • Move item alerts will now show the real amount of moved fields considering move multipliers

  • Hot Stones will now tick at the start of a player's turn instead of at the end

  • Fixed health bar showing the wrong health when a unit receives more damage than it has health left
  • TV screen now updates music volume correctly after changing it in the options menu

Balancing



  • Multiplied all item weights by 5 to counteract the faster weight changes
  • Bonus Die decreased weight change per turn: 0.1 => 0.02

  • Fixed Offensive item and Boosting item names and descriptions
  • Not sure if the poison effect animation was visible to clients before but it should be visible from now on
  • Fixed Nuke and Poison Gas Attack kill and poisoned counts
  • Nuke and Poison Gas Attack can no longer affect abducted units
  • Units can now die while abducted (for example when getting abducted with 1hp and poison)
