Mayor’s Message

Hey folks, it's me. The Mayor of Friendtown.

You know, I'm totally into the spooky season. Curling up on the couch with some hot cocoa, a cozy blanket, and enjoying one of my ultimate faves, The Exorcist. That's a solid 10 out of 10 weekend for me!

Btw, have y'all seen there's a new one coming out!? I'm so pumped... and freaked out... mostly freaked.

If I'm completely honest, that movie isn't my thing at all. I don't know why I made it seem like I'm into it, I genuinely hate scary movies!

Reveal of the Week

Introducing KlustR Jr.

KlustR Jr. is intelligent and resourceful, yet clumsy and comical. They refab and repair tamagochis, circuit boards, and small robotics from spare parts. They even designed and built their own state-of-the-art prosthetic leg from materials they stole from the lab they grew up in!
But that's not all, they're into some wild stuff too, like messing around with teleportation and time travel experiments.

Say hello to my little friends.... Dither & Banding.

Each round you play with KlustR, you start with their beloved mini turrets, Dither & Banding.
Dither absolutely loooooves dying for you, and Banding HATES it!

Mayor’s Message

Hey folks, it's me. The Mayor of Friendtown.

I can't even begin to tell you how hyped I am for Wired Wrecks releasing next Tuesday! It's gonna be an absolute blast!
I've been trying to set an alarm to remember the big day, but my phone has this strange habit of disassembling itself and misplacing crucial components. Strange, huh?

Anyhoo, please keep an eye out for Wired Wrecks, launching on Tuesday, October 10th!

Server Maintanence

Hello friends,

We just wanted to give you a heads up that we're gonna be doing some maintenance on our online service.

It's happening tomorrow, Thursday, October 5, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (CEST).

If everything goes smoothly, we might end up finishing earlier than we planned, but we won't be sending out any fancy notices if that happens.

So, during this time, our online service will be taking a little break and won't be available. We know it's a bummer, and we're sorry for any hassle this might cause.

Thanks for your understanding!

Buddy's Bulletin September 29th - What was that card from last week?

Howdy Friends,

It's Friday! Friday! Gotta get down on Friday! Friday! Did we mention it's Friday? Because it is and that means it's time for another Buddy's Bulletin!

It also means it's time to reveal what that mystery card was you saw last week. Ooooooo...

Reveals of the Week

So what is going on here? Well, I can say you're all pretty astute, quick and clever and got the idea pretty sharpish.

Because this is called the Warp Room Card!

Someone plays the card, you'll see a really fancy looking ol' TV show up on the map and it will take you to a far off dimension the other side of Friendtown.

Or somewhere else entirely. I've no idea to be honest...

You just jump into the Warp Room and that will last the entire round. Pretty trippy, right?

But the first two to get it right were Snake_Boy and OnionKnight! Congrats you two, let us know how to get in touch or reach out to someone on the team and we'll make sure you get a code for the game. Yay!

It looks like some of you are already getting into the Spooky Season! And I'm not for one minute suggesting we've got something planned...but we've totally got something planned. More news on that soon...

Anyway, look at this quacking piece of art from BarneyRooster18 on Twitter.

Thank you for sharing all your fan art with us. If you've been making some for Friends vs Friends, why not submit it to the fan art category here? We've seen some fantastic pieces out there and some surely worthy winners.

Mayor’s Message

Hey folks, it's me. The Mayor of Friendtown.

A Warp Room Card, eh? Well, that doesn't sound the least bit horrifying or scary to me. Nope. I actually think that sounds kinda fun.

I mean, it's a quiet place for me to do my work. No disturbances. No knocks on the door or urgent faxes to respond to. Nobody else, but me, a very brightly shining TV set, and a very purpley looking room.

Doesn't this just look wonderful...

Alright, I admit it. It's horrifying. It's actually making me think more and more about the spooky season and that it's just around the corner. Not that I'm scared or anything like that, no way. Your Mayor isn't scared of anything. I've got a will of steeee...AHHHHH SOMETHING JUST CRAWLED ALL OVER MY DESK!

Gotta go. Uh, you can see yourself out right? Until next time, this has been MEEEEE and AHHHH you know the rest...

Buddy’s Bulletin: XVI, September 22nd

Happy Friendly Friday,

Hope you're having a blast! We're on a high after an incredible free weekend and we're so glad you could join us for the festivities.

We smashed our concurrent playerbase, are back up to Very Positive in Reviews and have been featured all over Steam. It's a good time to be in Friendtown ya'll.

Thank you to everyone who played, who told their Friends and took the time to check us out. Some of you generous souls even gifted Friends vs Friends to others, you are the best!

Now we're just a few short weeks away from Wired Wrecks, our first Premium Expansion, and we've got a little bit more news to share with you on one of the upcoming cards coming to the game.

Reveals of the Week

So, the eagle-eyed among ya may have noticed one of the new cards coming to the game from our latest trailer. KlustR Jr is a dab-hand with a teleport grenade which lets them appear at the exact spot where the grenade is thrown. Perfect for a good ol' fashioned sneak attack, amiright?

But here's something else coming soon that's not quite so easy to explain.

We're not going to tell you what this is or how it works. But the first with the best / closest guess will win a copy of the game. You just have to leave your comment below this post to enter.

Let your imagination run wild...

Mayor’s Message

Hey folks, it's me. The Mayor of Friendtown.

What was that picture all about? I've never seen anything quite like it and let me tell you, I've seen some sights and have been here a long time. Well, not that long, I'm not that old. Or am I? Oh, I do lose track these days.

The Free Weekend took a bit out of me, I must admit. I met so many people, saw so much action and even played a few hands myself. But I had a great time and I hope you did too.

And the best part is, there's still so much to come with Racco's Workshop opening up around here very soon. I've already seen a few drones whizzing around over my head. Perhaps sometime soon I'll get to pilot one? Who's going to refuse the Mayor of Friendtown after all...

Actually, my family...They never listen to me....

But anyway, that's been me, the Mayor of Friendtown. And you're reading the Mayor's Message.
