We are still not quite finished yet, and more work is currently being focused on, but the new schedule is looking good and focus on marketing frigid may come sooner then expected.
Currently we are working on streamlining project releases and Frigid release date will be revealed on the store page when we are ready to realistically commit to an official deadline.

This new multiplayer coop support allows 2 players to play the single player story campaign. You will be able to play frigid with your best friend.

Additionally, we are offering a complete separate survival mode in multiplayer to team up and take on custom made maps based on pure survival without a story. Endless days of survival with your friends! This mode will be focused on brutal survival. We are going to make it hard and force players to rely on each other to survive.

Having said that, they are only beginning to spread, and few and far in between, your immediate danger, is to get through each day, day by day, alive! It's not going to be hard, but brutal, as nature intended for it to be.
Your tent and minimal gear may not provide the best shelter, but your resourcefulness will allow you to maintain mobility for the long trek up the mountains. Balance is always on your mind, should you build that log shelter and keep the beasts at bay? or risk it and move through areas quickly.
Here you see beautiful pictures of mankind cutting down nature in order to survive. Be careful, to cut down such a tree will exhaust your muscles and stamina for the rest of the day.
Live or Die is the rule of the day, not just for you, but all of natures creatures. Always keep that in mind!

EARLY ACCESS RELEASE TIME FRAME? As for the timeframe for release, we cannot confirm any dates anymore. This only creates frustration for letting down expectations. Ambition and hard work can only take you so far, coupled with a bootstrap budget, in game development, everything will be delayed. We are focusing on a late Q2 Early Access Release. However, keep this in mind. Nothing is certain. Depending on bug fixes/polish and or new content updates or even major bugs popping up halting development. All we can leave you is Macready's last words.

FRIGID - Pristine Lake Map Dev Update #2
Welcome back arctic survivors. We have completed the majority of the pristine lake map. Today, we share with you a few in-game snapshots and video clips of our work in progress.

As promised, this map is an open world exploration experience. You can go where ever you like and accomplish tasks and objectives in whatever order you deem fit. The main obstacles will be figuring out navigation over a crippled ice sheet, shattered by ice drifts, causing breaks in the ice revealing ice cold river streams.
Learn of what the Archeologist found on the ice by exploring many of the research tents setup in the area. Using your intelligence, you can figure out how to contain or defeat the spread of the infection.
Fishing and hunting on the Ice will be critical to your survival. When the night falls over the lake, the weather is extreme, you will need to stay in shelter over night or you will freeze fast. New items include building fishing shacks, using arctic navigation poles, climbing ice walls with an ice pick tool.
Staying away from stage 2 infected polar bears who lurk all over the surface of the ice will be a challenge in itself. These creatures are brutal! More detailed information about them will be revealed soon. For now enjoy the tease below...
