New update for Frontier Pilot Simulator: Optimization and full readiness!
We are pleased to announce the release of a new update for Frontier Pilot Simulator!
This release is the result of our hard work on optimizing the game, resulting in a significant improvement in its performance. The game now runs much smoother with no sudden FPS sags, providing you with an uninterrupted and immersive gaming experience.
It is especially important to note that in this update we have achieved 100% game readiness, meeting all our original plans. This means you're getting exactly what we envisioned from the beginning, and we're sure you'll love it!
In addition, we're excited to announce the release of Frontier Pilot Simulator on consoles! Now even more players will be able to immerse themselves in the exciting world of our pilot simulator.

Game Development Update
Hello everyone,
I have some important news to share with you all about the game we have been working on. As many of you may already know, the development team consisted of employees from the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Russia. Unfortunately, just before the end of last year, we experienced a break in development. This was further compounded by the outbreak of war, which ultimately led to the original team splitting up.
However, we are happy to announce that there is now another team working on the project, focused on porting the game to the PS5 and Xbox by the end of this year. We understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for updates and we apologize for the long silence.
The future of the game will be decided after its release on these platforms. We appreciate the continued support and interest from our fans, and we thank you for your patience as we work towards a successful release.
First of all, we are happy to announce in-game TrackIR 5 support, so you can make your game experience even better now.
We hope you enjoy playing our game and be sure we do everything to hold this experience at the same and even higher level for all of the players.
FPS, VR
We are still working hard to bring the optimization to a new level, including all of the shaders, code, artworks, and so on. Unfortunately, the engine on which the game is built does not allow us to get even better performance, but we are searching for new ways to increase the performance. At the lower settings, the game does not seem to have any issues, but of course, at maximum ones, it requires better machine specs but is still playable. We are trying to limit the fps to 60 with vsync turned off.
As the output of that, we have an issue with the VR version of the game, due to low fps, at this stage of the game, any VR glasses will just tire your eyes. We are still looking for any new ways to implement it in the game, but no solution has been found so far…
XBOX/PS
Alongside VR, we are trying to implement the console's solution. It takes a bit more time than we thought because of many reasons. Due to the well-known pandemic, there is even a long waiting time to get the dev kits for them because they are out of stock, we have no other issues with consoles build, on other hand. At the moment, previous generations of consoles require deep analysis and code optimization. This includes graphics and in-game resource consumption. Obviously, we will need to rework some of the game assets, which takes time as well. It is possible that a special game version will be needed for the consoles.
-------------------------------------------------- You probably know that our team is not that big, with just 7-10 employees onboard, without any huge investors or inflows from third parties. However, each of us loves SCI-FI and flights! Therefore, during all the years we managed to finally release the game and implemented pretty much everything we wanted. We hope you feel it as well and enjoy the final version of it.
We've been working for the last 5 years for our own investments, without holidays and vacations, and, to be honest with you, we are very tired. That is why we decided to take a small break to gain strength and take a new look at the game.

Basic Flight Controls
From the main menu select Settings -> Controls to choose your desired setup. Make sure your controller is plugged in before loading up the game otherwise it won’t be recognised. We recommend you watch our tutorials in the following order, and then complete the accompanying in-game tutorial.
