Hi all!
We've just put out another patch. Here are the salient details:



We've also put out a macOS version. This still requires some testing so we're not quite ready to say the game is available for the Mac yet.
There's also a Linux build but that currently has an issue which is preventing the game from starting. We intend to put up a working Linux build early on Monday.

We've just released an update for Frozen Synapse 2 which addresses a number of the most severe problems our users were reporting.

Current Dev Roadmap

Hello all - here's our current plan...

Friday, today: several small bug fixes and minor rule changes to multiplayer modes

Sunday: 4k-supporting gui patch, some minor city bug fixes

Thursday: Some more significant city issues dealt with.

OSX and Linux versions and Skirmish Generator: Sept 28th (these will not interfere with ongoing bug fixing and improvements)

We're aware of some crashes in single player and some tutorial issues, and we're working on those for next week.

If you have crashes or similar, could you please mail support@mode7games.com with:

- dxdiag.txt (here are instructions on how to create one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4028644/windows-open-and-run-dxdiagexe)

- console.log (this file is in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\FrozenSynapse2\)

- your autosave, or any other relevant save, from this directory (this is in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\FrozenSynapse2\map\saves)

This will really help us out.

The response to the game has been great - we believe it in, and in its future potential so we're going to continue working hard on it. Your support means a lot.

Thank you for a great launch! Some quick notes on the Mac / Linux version plus UI scaling...

Hi,

Firstly, thank you so much to those of you in the community who have been patient with us getting the game out - we really appreciate it.

We will be working to get Mac and Linux versions out as soon as possible. I will talk to everyone tomorrow and try to get a firm date for you.

I also want to take a look at the issues that people are having with UI scaling above 1080 and see if we can do anything there. To even have a chance of making this game, we had to use an engine which is a little bit venerable, so it's not straightforward but bear with us a bit - I'll see if anything can be done quickly. For now, if you're having issues, the best thing to do is play at 1080.

Wish I could do more instantly but it's late here and we need to regroup a bit before tomorrow!

We're still working on it!

Sorry for lack of a confirmed release date - at the moment we're working really hard on trying to get the last remaining bugs. Our testers are doing a great job and we've brought on some external QA to help.

I really appreciate your patience and I'll have more info for you soon.
