New minigame: Grab the powerup! An arena style game where platforms fall over time and grabbing the soda powerup will give the player a big boost to push the rest of the players off. Online sync seems good and the only thing it seems to need is more aggresive AI which will be tweaked during this next week along with some general fixes.
Also: - Fixed an issue in which you could not select a minigame in offline practice and custom online because new text in front of the preview images would prevent it.
March + April Hotfixes
- Extended the player-give-money-to-player tile to other boards. - Added more 'living' decoration to most boards. - Added some optimizations in the code of Hexagon Island, should perform slightly better generally. - Optimized performance for Tag!, Filming Action and Glass Fortress minigames. (merged materials and textures for faster rendering) - Solved an issue in Tag! and Blind Curse! in which sometimes a jailed player would be the tagged player resulting in an unplayable game until timer is off. - Solved an issue in which the drone in Mad Drone would go out of bounds. - Solved an issue in Iceberg where the lifesaver would sometimes be propelled really far. - Fixed a bug in Glass Fortress where players would get stuck below a platform when returning to their positions (may require to tweak the values, report if happening again) - Fixed an issue in One, Two, Freeze! where turrets would sometimes go crazy while aiming at an online player. - Fixed an issue in UFO minigame where the UFO would show different paths to different players in online (desynced basically). - Realized a small issue in the new tile while exporting it to western board. It would roll again the second player field making it confusing. Fixed. - Fixed a tile in Winter board that had wrong color in minimap.
In other news: new minigame will probably arrive during these weeks.
January hotfixes
Changelog: - New green event tile in boards: it will change the sheriff star/food vendor position when landing on it. (and leaves a special red tile behind) - Fixed some cases in which players would permanently increase their speed. (requires testing) - Lowered reflexes a bit for hard bots in Jump Or Roll (they were pretty difficult to beat on that skill) - Lowest graphic setting now uses less texture resolution resulting in a small performance increase. - Replaced "Linear" mode option in Online Minigames menu with "Starter" option, a pack with recommended minigames for new players. (It will be set as default the first time hosting a game) - The minimap where players and objectives are marked in Snowy Peaks board will also be less visible when the storm increases until it disappears, remember the roads! - Fixed an issue in Ink Spheres where players would be launched in a random direction at the start of the minigame. (Conflict with boards colliders overlapping)
Already fixed for next update: - Fixed an issue in which platforms in Lava Parkour minigame would persist through levels due to the last change in their behaviour. - Fixed an issue in which sometimes players would not "stick" to the platforms in Lava Parkour.
Known issues: Aftermath crosshair in iceberg stuck in a certain height making its aiming hard.
