Full Metal Sergeant is not just about training and fighting. You will also be competing against other camps in various events.
We had already talked about competitions right? Let's see a little more.
Running
Strength and agility determine how well your recruits perform at competitions. Recruits with the fat trait will face an additional struggle.
Shooting
Shooting is, of course, vital. But recruits must also cultivate intelligence if they want to be a sniper.
Swimming
Agility and strength are also necessary for swimming, and you'll need plenty of training in the pool because the navy schools are very demanding.
Enemy spotted!
Hello everyone!
Today I will briefly show the mission that your recruits will face after graduating. The map is explored as they advance and popups appear in order to indicate the presence of encounters.
"Spotted!"
Alpha has just run into an enemy infantry group. The red color says it is quite dangerous. Is it better to go around them?
"I found a bullet!"
The platoon moves around the map using supplies, so it should never run out. Fortunately, there are events where you can find valuable crates.
"Are any of you snipers?"
There will be some encounters where you will have to decide how to deal with them. Have you based your training on agility? Then better sneak into the enemy camp. Or are your men skilled in shooting? Then you can solve everything with brute force.
...In the next news I'll go into more detail about the combat system.
See you soon! Carlo.
The cadence system
Did you know that there is a competition among drill sergeants for the best cadence? Yes those tunes that are sung during the boot camp run.
Full Metal Sergeant is no exception, you'll be able to play your favorite cadence among those composed especially for the game. Before each run you choose the cadence, each with its own bonuses.

Upgrade the boot camp!
Hello!
Today's devblog focuses on the system for upgrading your military camp. The game has a skill tree (well it's more correct to say an upgrade tree) where you can buy equipment, training and services using the Prestige Points of your camp.
Equipments
The main thing to buy is zone equipments, each one provides a basic default training right away. The upgrade path will also decide how recruits will develop, whether more on the sniper shooting or experienced amphibious troops.
Training
Each equipment gives access to other trainings, that raise one or more of the recruit's skills but also affect stamina and stress. They can be ugraded, giving much more skill value at the same cost.
Services
There are also services such as the Guardhouse. Unlocking it and assign a recruit; he won't participate in training session but will be able to recover stamina and stress.
...there's also other things in the upgrade tree, but I will focus on them next time...
See you in the next devBlog! Carlo.
Compete against other camps!
Hello everybody!
Second devblog here; this time it's all about the competition system. In Full Metal Sergeant you will not only have to build great soldiers, but you will also have to show their skills during competitions against other camps.
Every 2 weeks there will be new competitions available at the bulletin board. Actually there are three types:
Shooting
Running
Swimming
You have to choose the competition in which your recruits will perform best. You will be able to see the required attributes and the reward in Prestige Points. So, do you have recruits who are skilled at shooting? Then Sniper Cup. Or are you focused on agility and strength training? Then better go for a run.
In this devblog let's see the race...
Choose you man
The first step is to choose the best recruit for the duty, so in this case, with the one with most strength and agility. Pay attention to the stamina: it is necessary to jump into the competitions with the recruits rested otherwise they will not have enough energy to complete the race.
Run run run
Watch the racer and see if your man can overtake the others... The race is divided into multiple sessions, so if one recruit is too tired you can compete with another.
Straight to the finish line!
...this time It didn't go well, better get back to camp and push the trainings.
