Version 1.52 - Year One

Just a bug-fixing update. A bit underwhelming for the first anniversary, I know, but I've been a bit busy.

And as you might have noticed there is a crazy discount going on, lets hope it will bring lots of new players and spice up the leaderboards :)

Version 1.5 / 1.51 - More


  • 2 new maps.
  • A new music track.
  • Adjusted the late game difficulty + the impostor gets a laser upgrade after the 3 carriers wave, watch out.

Version 1.37 - Fixin'


  • Better handling of offline mode and server issues.
  • Fixed an issue with fullscreen mode.

Version 1.35 - Zoom

Hello everybody, we now have a couple of camera zoom options:

  • Cinematic: focus on the ship at critical moments but zooms out when firing. This is the default setting.
  • Static: always zoomed out.

Version 1.32 / 1.33 - Fixin'

This is just a bugfixing update, I havent touched the gameplay since 1.31 (3 weeks ago). If you are seeing differences in the game difficulty/balancing its just the daily waves changing. Beware of the power of your imagination :)

  • Some issues with vsync.
  • Support for fringe resolutions such as 21:9 (the camera will zoom accordingly).
  • Offline mode.

Version 1.31 - Tweaking


  • Difficulty tweaking.
  • Some better visual feedback for the weapon upgrades.

Version 1.3 - Lazers!



This is the biggest update yet and I believe it addresses a lot of the feedback I've got about the game in the past months in a way that is practical and fits with the game design.

I wont change the base gameplay anymore except for balancing tweaks. But I'd like to add some more enemies, we'll see.

    <*>Each ship upgrade uses a different weapon.
    <*>The turret turns slower if you thrust. More noticeable on the Tank/Laser upgrade.
    <*>After each upgrade cycle the ship levels up.
    <*>Each ship level up does more damage but its also harder to get.
    <*>Ship level is shown on the scoreboard.
    <*>Several tweaks to the difficulty (I might need few more updates to get it right).
    <*>UI signalling for mines.
    <*>Option to disable the gamepad cursor.

    Version 1.25 - Better


    • Better targeting
    • New mechanic: no thrust = reload missiles
    • Visual cue when missiles are ready
    • Score combo is kept alive during upgrades (no more, was too easy)
    • Some fixes to gamepad controls


    The new missiles mechanic adds some more depth to the gameplay, basically if you want more firepower you need to hold you thrust and risk getting shot down.

    And also I'm working on something...

    Version 1.23 - Combo


    • Better UI feedback for the score combo
    • Carriers spawn position rearranged for the late game
    • Gamepad(s) can be disabled in the controls menu


    This is a small patch to address a recent controller issue but I also managed to put in some UI candy and the late game should be more difficult now.

    *edit* Now with some more UI improvements.

    Version 1.22 - 4k


    • Option to turn post-processing completely off.
    • Window can be manually resized in window mode.


    These were added to solve some problems with 4k monitors but might be useful for anyone.
