What's this? A new Army of Tentacles game? Without any RPG elements? Just a straight dating sim? Are the GODS THEMSELVES JUST AND WISE?
Well, here it is. Just in time for North American Halloween.
A note on release dates changing to 2021
A few of our smaller games, plus Furries/Bears 2, have changed to 2021. This isn't due to the sudden addition of Mythos Ever After: A Cthulhu Dating Sim, but rather, because our artists and writers need more time, and we need further assets that we didn't really account for in the budget. We figured that, if the games are delayed anyway, they might as well be clear off the current foreseeable (or at least further off than, say, January) release schedule.
The final three months of 2020 are going to see Very Naked Hamlet, The Ghost of Joe Papp 2, and possibly a stealth Halloween game.
Stealth as in we're gonna try to get it out by Halloween, but if we can't, we can't. I was busy taking the last week a half to recode Army of Tentacles: New Game+ Benefits, and got the itch to make a pure dating sim in the Army universe.
Paper Shakespeare: The Legend of Rainbow Hollow is released!
I always wanted to do a self-drawn game, as well as an adventure point-and-click. Hand drawn as quick sketches, then scanned into the computer, and then re-done in the computer paint programs, this one was an experience. Not sure it's an experience I'd do again, but I'm glad that it finished.
It also was the first try at a real puzzle game, and as such, I am super interested in hearing what works and what doesn't.
The Shakespeare play that it is very thinly based on is actually five: the five "Problem Plays" of the Bard's portfolio, and it also kind of ties all of the past Stick Figure Paper Shakespeare games together.
The game uses a new, more simplistic version of Army of Tentacles' Argument System, for a combo of puzzles and word battles. We might be using this in the future, but with a version that is a bit more buffed up.
So, enjoy.

patch, 7/26/2020 and story content changes
Valid points about the content of our games have been brought up, and to address them, we are rewriting some portions of the script. As head writer for the company, it is my job to make sure that our games contain content that are both inclusive and culturally sensitive, and Furries, Scalies, & Bears OH MY! betrays that.
Over the next week, the script will be looked over, and plots changed. That patch will be coming no later than Friday.
The current patch:
FIXES UP: Image issues
Furries/Bears 2, Hamlet, and release date announcements
A silly little game where you need to know the entirety of Hamlet. It's like those learning to spell good games, but with sexytimes and Shakespeare. It was also a big back-and-forth for us, as it has text-based sex scenes baked in that go further than we've gone in a base game.
Release date changes
Paper Shakes: Date? 2 is going to launch sooner, as Furries/Bears 2 has taken priority as our late year game. This doesn't mean that it will be less of a game. We always were going for a November release date as a "LOL it's a stress-free election game during a real election", but realized that it doesn't really matter if it comes out then or not. Plus, I had an urge to deep dive into it.
Paper Shakespeare: Lizards is now 2021 due to various stressful factors that this year has brought to the team. It's a rather odd change, because it's a smaller game, but we feel that we do not want to push the issue and make it a rushed and stressed work environment for people.
Furries/Bears 2 in current development
New artist, new main character, new continent, new storyline. New Furries, new Scalies. One of the main criticisms that we received about the first game is that people would like a lot more time to talk to multiple characters per day, so we have written a gameplay loop that is much more applicable to that.
Of course, it's not an official announcement until the official announcement. Expect that sooner rather than later.
Will this one have NSFW content right off the bat? Probably as a Charity DLC, but based on the response to the current NSFW for Charity DLC, it will probably be available at launch. The base game will not have NSFW stuff. While we do want to cater to both variations of audience, we want to make sure they are both happy with the end product as well.
Why a new artist? The current Furries/Bear artist is currently working on Also Unannounced RPG 2021 Project and has been since late last year, and, up until recently, who exactly owned what regarding Furries & Scalies & Bears OH MY! was a bit legally murky. The sequel was not commissioned by the person that contracted us for Furries/Bears 1. So while there are some surprises in store for returning players, don't expect to see any of the cast from the first game. Just putting that one out there right now. Didn't want anyone expecting the game to be something it is not, even though it is firmly withing Furries/Bears canon. So, long story short, we didn't know that we'd need her for this game because we didn't know this game was going to exist.
Is it based on any Shakespeare play? While the Furries/Bears universe is, for legal reasons, separate from the Stegverse (or Wyrdverse, as well call it internally), the sequel will absorb our company goal of adapting every Shakespeare play, at least in part, to video game format. Let's just say that elements of one or two of the Bard's plays will make its way into the story.
