Futurust

Free Demo is on it's way

We are doing our best to deliver what we promised. Busy crunching on this game and our other projects which help us sustain the studio, we almost haven't noticed that this is nearly February!

Time to get ourselves together and break the silence!

The demo is almost complete. We just need to add the remaining sounds and tweak and polish certain visuals.

It contains 1 playable level. We wanted to give you more but that would mean you would have to wait even longer.
Some of the hardcore fans might recognize it from the previous releases.
We, however, made several changes and improvements.
First and foremost - Rust now talks. There are dialogues in the game. (doah...)
The dialogues are in English only for now, however we want to translate them later to all major languages.
Secondly - we have changed and improve visuals, added various animations and light effects.
This is important thing as we might have a question or two later on.

(Hint: beta testers... we might need some beta testers... free games)

The demo will be released early February. Maybe even on the 2nd of February. Why? Let's just say it will be a birthday present from one of the developers of this game.

Spread the word!
Add the game to your wish list!

Hello World!

While we are still working on the demo to be shown early 2020 we have decided to give you a glimpse of the making of Futurust

Daniel Włodarski, author of the concept and most of the game graphical elements, is a professional illustrator of books for children and he, as many in his craft field, prefers to work using classical & analog ways.

In the first stage Daniel prepares the sketch with a pencil. Then slowly, he paints on top of it with watercolors, layer by layer.

Only after the last stage, when the paintings get dry, the elements are cut out using a computer application like Photoshop or Gimp. The process is lengthy and time consuming. It may take even up to two weeks to create one game location. However, in our opinion this handcrafted approach gives our game a unique feel. You can sense Daniels passion to adventure games in every inch of the world of Futurust.
