Galactic Fighters 1.8 Patch notes

News


- Once the game ends, a new mode will be unlocked in which you will face all bosses one after the other
- In the main menu, above the store button, there is a new panel of world selection

Bugfix


- By changing your profile, the spaceships unlocked are updated
- The level that you just unlocked can be selected in the missions' list
- The oculus do not shoot once they have exceeded your visual range
- You no longer have to restart the game to unlock the ships after slaying a boss
- During the animation of the death of a boss you become immortal
- The end of the levels 2 and 5 coincides with the end of the waves
- In the credits at the end of the game you will no longer see the interface of the main menu
- Levels 6 - 9 - 12 do not show the wrong worlds

- The spaceship in the hangar, once selected, lifts less from the ground and its animation has been slowed

1.7 Patch notes

News


- A new main menu has been realized
- The menu of choice of the missions is included in the new main menu, you just need to click on a planet in order to choose a mission
- We added a button to quickly choose the spacecraft to use; statistics and changes to the power-ups are related to the hangar
- A new model for the "Space Crow" (the first spaceship) was realized
- A new soundtrack will accompany you during level 13
- A new soundtrack will accompany you during level 8
- Added new features! During a mission or while you are in the hangar, by pressing "ins" button you can disable or re-enable the GUI
- Added a screen that will notify you of the unlock of new planets or ships

- The worlds 1 and 2 are no longer with wrong textures
- If you finish a level when you're on a corner of the screen you will not remain forever wandering in space
- The speed of credits no longer depends on the resolution selected
- Levels 5 and 2 now end after the waves end

Enhancements


- The bar of the level does an animation at the end of each wave

- Increased the duration of animations of the spaceships in the hangar
- Revised the waves of level 10, 11, 12

- The level 12 has a whole new soundtrack!

- The game must be restarted to apply your video settings
- Now the sound of the explosions matches with the volume set by the options

- Did the hangar seem a bit static? Now the ships float!

- Reduced the hitbox of the spaceships in order to exclude the wings
- Revised the waves of the 4,5,6,7,8,9 levels
- Rewritten the advice of the pop up when you exit options

- The 3D model of the third player's spaceship has been updated!

- Added the antialiasing on the spaceship of the end-level panel

- GPs can now be also earnt according to the remaining HP
- the number of taken hits and the amount of dealt damage is now displayed in the end level panel. These stats will not influence the amount of earned points.

Bugfix


- the cooldown of the missiles correctly resets when starting a game after dying.
- now enemies do not explode each other
- planets in the selection of missions no longer disappear
- fixed the bug that made upgrades disappearing once unequipped
- the enemies that surpass the player's spaceships do not emit neither sounds nor explosion effects.
- the collision warning system now properly calculates the remaining time before the impact

Enhancements


- the marks of the life and level bar dynamically resize if the resolution is changed while in game
- the bonus points earned from a boss and those earned from the enemies have been separated
- camera effects have been added on the levels
- soundtracks have been normalized

- the end-level panel has been reworked
- the spaceship descriptions in the hangar correspond to those of Steam and were translated into four languages.
- asteroids are now faster and invulnerable to bullets but their number has been reduced

Mac version now available!

Galactic Fighters is now available for Mac too! We apologize for not releasing it earlier, but it was the hardest platform to test

Galactic Fighters 1.3 Patch

New weekend, new patch!
We've been working a lot on the gameplay, in order to give you more information about your status and your travel. Are you ready? Let's see what's new then:

News


- Added full game support for the XBox One joystick
- Added an icon in the HUD, that tells you wether your missiles are in cooldown or not
- Added a level progress bar that tells you wether your near to the end of the level or not
- Added french translation of the descriptions of the missions

Bugfixes


- The warning triangle of the collision detector above the Kamikaze enemies (the ones that like to blow up on your face) is now displayed correctly
- The warning triangle of the collision detector is now shown again

Enhancements


- Speeded up the loading and playing of the intro video, which now shouldn't cause framerate drops anymore.
- Boosted the performance of the lights inside the hangar menu, which should lag less.

Changes


- Changed the style of the Health Bar in order to make it more visible
- The GP rewards gained from bosses and enemies have been adjusted
- Changed the credits soundtrack

Galactic Fighters 1.2.1 Patch

Welcome everyone !
We just released the first patch for Galactic Fighters, In which we solved some bugs and added some interesting features to make your gaming experience more fun. Are you ready? Let's start with the following bug fixes and then to the changes...

[BUGFIX]
- [Shop] The third upgrade of the shields category is now purchasable
- The bosses now spawn further away from the player (yes, now you can fairly fight against the boss of the 3rd level )
- When you create a new profile, the game now automatically selects the first mission as the next one to play therefore the game no longer crashes on first launch [Linux]

[CHANGES]
- The "imminent collision" signals are now showed on asteroids too
- The descriptions of missions have been revised
- The enemies fire rate has been nerfed
- The hangar menu has been completely redesigned

The time has come. We tried to fix as many bugs and to improve as many things that we could in these weeks and now we're finally here, with you, to save the galaxy.
