Hey everyone! This week we’re releasing a Winter Holiday focused patch! The Winter Holiday 2022 event introduces a new, limited-time set of holiday-themed cosmetics, including:
-7 Skins -10 Nose Arts -4 Banners
As always, these will be added into the end of the game rewards pool so be sure to get some games in to unlock these holiday themed items! Also, enjoy 10% bonuses to end match XP and Gold, and 10% more rewards in Supply Caches as our gift to you!
Be on the lookout for fun things happening on Europa, our designated Winter Wonderland map!

New
Mail time! We’re now introducing a new feature to allow Clan leaders to send mail to their Clan members. At the top right of the home page you will see a mail icon that you can click to read mail. That icon will include a red indicator if you have any mail waiting for you. Just make sure you’ve been more nice than naughty, and maybe your Clan leader will send you a lovely Christmas message!
Lastly, we’re introducing 4 types of boosters! There is a 1.5x booster for XP, while Gold, Unlock Points (Hammers), and Mod Progress all have 2x boosters. A 2x Mod Progress boosters will give you 6 points of Module Progress as a match reward instead of the normal 3.
These boosters have a 30 minute timer but you can earn more than one at a time allowing for them to queue one after another. The time on the boosters will continue to run even when you are not in game.
You can see your active boosters in the Armory, on the Main Menu and at the end of each match.
Currently, boosters can be obtained from Supply Cache drops..
That’s all for this week, and the year! The team is taking time off for the holidays and will return in the new year. We at Simutronics would like to thank you all for being part of this journey. Not just for playing, but also for helping mold GALAHAD 3093 into the game it is today. We hope you have a wonderful rest of the year and we look forward to working with you all on our return.

Update 14
New
We have a small update for you this week but an exciting change for several weapons. In this patch, we are adding two new modules for the secondary weapons: Lurid, Quadrantid, and Draconoid.
The first set of modules, Increased Projectile Speed, will increase the projectile speed and ammo capacity of your mortar style secondary weapons. However, this comes at the cost of reduced damage.
The second set of modules, Decreased Projectile Speed, will decrease the projectile speed of your mortar style secondary weapons but will increase the ammo capacity. Like the first set of modules, this will also come at the cost of reduced damage.
We hope you enjoy these new modules and that they give you an edge on the battlefield.
Lastly, we’ve added HUD hints while jump jetting as a reminder about the air brake feature. It also will indicate that skim fuel can be used to adjust your landing.
Balance Changes

Update 10
**New Features**
*A brand new map, The Towers, has been added! It features two large Deep Earth Mining Towers with bases and a 3rd base in between. Be sure to check out the community video and jump in yourself to take a look! Oh, and beware of mining lasers.
*Clans 1.0 is here! Creating a clan costs 1000 coins and can be done once you reach level 10. You can join a clan at level 5. A clan button has been added to the tabs. This initial release allows for clan tags, crests and a way to organize your team. And, ultimately, serves as a foundation for future planned clan features.
**Community Suggestions**
*Airbrake has been changed to a base feature, meaning you no longer need the jump jet maneuverability module to use that feature! We hope this will help players have more agency in their movements. Note that the maneuverability module improves the Airbreak performance while also having all its other benefits.
*We’ve addressed an issue with running / skimming over rough terrain causing players to launch into the air. It should be a much smoother piloting experience in the future.
**Improvements**
* We’ve brought back the Live Practice Area to smooth out the experience for new players. For the first few matches, new players will only play with other new players with builds from the Roles selections. Those who have graduated to the Novice servers and beyond will be unaffected.
* We’ve continued to make improvements to the jump jet predictive arc feature.
Wyvern *Increased second defense mod slot from T1 to T3
Meteor, Moonlight, Cyclone, Saturn *Added T1 offense mod slot
**Bug Fixes**
* If you had over 100 friends, some friends wouldn’t appear in the friends tab. We’ve addressed this, so go squad up! * The Jump Jet Maneuverability module no longer saves your previous charge if you canceled your jump.
Update 9
Community Suggestions
*Last week we added the new visual arc feature to allow for players to more easily land their jumps. (And notice if something above you was blocking the path!) This week we’ve improved that feature so that it’s more accurate, especially for medium and heavy sized lances. *The feature also brought about a problem where any amount of power used with the Jump Jet Maneuverability mod would cause all fuel to be used. We’ve addressed this as well!
Improvements
*We know on some machines Incendiary Rounds from Draconids had been causing some problems, and they’ve received some additional optimizations (as seen in the balance changes).
Balance Changes
Draconid (Cluster Bomb) *Decreased sub-projectile count from 15 to 10 *Increased radius from 20 to 25 *Increased impact damage from 120 to 170 *Increased explosion damage from 106 to 150 Double Agent *T2 and above now allow enemy repair pad use *T4 and above now disable enemy turret lock on Attack Autonomy Booster (Falcon) *Increased health bonus from 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 to 45 / 90 / 135 / 180 / 225 percent Incendiary Rounds (Draconid) *Increased fire damage from 300 / 375 / 450 / 525 / 600 to 400 / 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 damage per second *Decreased fire duration from 10 to 8 seconds *Decreased damage penalty from 30 to 10 percent *Now decreases Draconid fire rate by 30 percent Shield Penetrator (Inferno) *Increased shield bypass from 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 to 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60
Bug Fixes
*Several bugs causing visual glitches when entering the armory have been addressed *Fixed a bug not allowing players to use open mic *Phantom player blips on the radar at the start of the match has been fixed *The match result screen will no longer flash by too quickly *Parados and Recurve shoulder attachments no longer freak out when looking up
Update 8
Community Suggestions
* There’s now a visual arc for your Jump Jet in the HUD! While down the Jump Jet Key (E by default) an arc will show your predicted trajectory. Releasing the key will initiate the Jump. -- If you are holding the Jump Jet activation key down, you can cancel by pressing the Reload button (default R key) -- This HUD arc can be disabled in settings for veteran players in the gameplay settings.
Improvements
* Videos can now stream on the home page so we can provide useful hints & tips and relevant videos that we or the community makes. You can even see the playlist to pick what you want to watch in usual YouTube fashion.
Balance Changes
Condor (Light) * Increased armor from 5250 to 5500 at Mk I * Increased Armor from 5750 to 6000 at Mk II and Mk III Wyvern (Light) * Added T1 Defense, Mobility, Sensor, and Utility mod slots * Added a T4 Universal mod slot Gale (Light) * Added T1 Mobility mod slot * Added T3 Universal mod slot Nebula (Medium) * Added T1 Defense, Mobility, and Sensor mod slots * Added T2 Utility mod slot * Decreased offense mod slot from T3 to T1 * Decreased first Utility slot from T5 to T4 * Decreased first Universal mod slot from T5 to T4 * Removed 2 T5 Universal mod slots Concord (Heavy) * Added T1 Defense, Mobility, Sensor, and Utility mod slots * Added a T4 Universal mod slot Thunderwall (Heavy) * Added T1 Defense and Utility mod slots * Added T2 Mobility slot Scorch (Super Heavy) * Added T1 Defense, Mobility, Sensor, and Utility mod slots * Added a T4 Universal mod slot Flare (Super Heavy) * Decreasing Universal mod slot from T5 to T4

GALAHAD 3093 is now Free to Play!
We’re very excited to announce that today, October 24th, GALAHAD 3093 is now Free to Play!
We’d like to thank everyone who has been with us through Beta Weekends and our Steam Early Access launch. The improvements made to the game until now wouldn’t have been possible without your feedback and suggestions.
As thanks, we’ll be rewarding those players who purchased the game prior to this transition with the following Trailblazer Gift:
10,000 Coins 1,500 Upgrade Points
All of this amounts to more, in cash value, than the purchase price of the base game (based on the previous and existing DLC pricing). You’ll see these awards when you next play the game if you bought it before October 24th.
Going to a free to play model will allow many more people the opportunity to play the game. They get to see first hand what we’ve crafted together and become part of the community voice moving forward towards full release. Now is the perfect chance to message your friends who were on the edge to come see what GALAHAD 3093 has to offer!
We’re looking forward to seeing new faces! Find yourself your favorite Knight, an awesome lance skin, and get to work!
See you on the battlefield! Galahad 3093 Team
FAQ
Why are you doing this? Free To Play is becoming the way most Hero Shooter games are done. Even large AAA titles, like Halo Infinite and the upcoming Overwatch 2. A premium priced game just can’t succeed, at last not at our size, against that. Naturally we want as many people to play what we’ve created as possible, so we’ve concluded this is the best way forward.
Currently our focus is on raising the player count, not monetization of the game. We will also be employing other methods to bring players into the game, and being Free To Play will lower the barrier to adoption across all of these efforts as well.
What about players who bought the founders pack? The founder pack DLC included additional UP, coins as well as the founder skins. Since that value hasn’t been touched, it is not part of the award for having purchased the base game.
Does progress reset? No! Progress will remain for existing players of the game.
Does the game have microtrans? Not currently. Instead, we’ve going to start by expanding the DLC packs available. Right now, though, we are mostly concerned with making a great game that is fun to play. Buying a DLC pack is a great way to support the development of the game though!
