Galaxy Life Gold Trading event 2 & New Unreal Cube

[p]Starting from today we have launched the Galaxy Life Gold Trading event! In this event you will collect gold pieces and trade them in at the banker for goodies and more! The event will last until the 27th of June and you can see an exact event counter in-game. [/p]
Fixes:
[p]- Removed Advanced Spy Capsule inventory limit[/p][p]- The mission We need more resources 5 no longer requires you to own 12 level 10 Mines and Houses it is now level 9 in-stead[/p][p]- Increased Engine Drop rate [/p]
And there is also a brand new Unreal cube that's being sent out to everyone thanks to Michi-007!

Galaxy Life is currently under maintenance for approximately 5 hours while we migrate & upgrade our database server. This should fix any remaining issues with the game feeling slower than usual or stuff not working.
Battlelogs will be deleted & this should improve the stability of both API and the backends, regarding the issues you guys experienced in the last week or so!

War Matchmaking Changes
We've heard your recent questions regarding the matchmaking logic we shared here in 2022.
After further investigation, we noticed we made some mistakes when implementing it, which we will be fixing shortly. Alongside these bug fixes, we will be using the average of main players Starbase level only instead of the average Starbase level of all planets.
For most alliances this has almost no effect, but for those at the top, they can see up to a 2x increase in possible opponents. We have considered these changes thoroughly and even asked some community members about them, and everyone seems to agree it's good!
These changes will be coming Saturday, 3 May 2025 14:00 (UTC+2 timezone)! We will make an updated post with the update in dev-blog with the details, for those who want them. Thanks to Patric for guiding me with all of this

Thanks to PoLisz' support, we are sending out a Kamikaze themed cube for everyone to open. The cube will be sent out in just a moment!
Thanks to Floridant's support, he is sending out his second cube for everyone to open. We will be sending out this cube Saturday evening somewhere, a few hours after the update!
The droprates are similar to Solaris, his first cube. Each cube in-game has an equal chance to drop, this includes some of the other Unreal cubes! The change is that the Refinery cubes have been decreased in drop rate, so the others have a higher chance.

Easter Event
The Easter event has started, Collect as many eggs as you can to win the best prizes! You can get eggs trough Attacking, Collecting and Friend Helps.
The easter event will last until the 28th of April
Event boosts
All house income will be boosted by 50% Cooldown of Star Batteries will be reduced from 11h to 6h Cooldown of Toolboxes will be reduced from 23h to 16h
This will be reverted at the end of the event (so there will also be a small downtime then)

New Store changes and Free Cube!

Today, we're release an update to the store, as well as sending out our latest unreal supporter cube from <@853754564893605899> and pushing various bug fixes, let's dive into the details!
Store
For the 6 regular chips offers, players will now receive bonus chips (around ~5% bonus, up to 230 chips), when choosing to make their purchase using our recently introduced payment provider Tebex (which supports all major payments methods worldwide and more).
We're also increasing the price and chips quantity of our 2 cheapest offers: - 40 chips for 1.90€ ➜ 80 chips for 3.90€. - 150 chips for 6.9€ ➜ 190 chips from 8.90€.
For both, we're basically adding an extra 40 chips while also increasing the price accordingly.
Sending out the latest Unreal Supporter cube 'The Apagnan' to everyone!
Toms has just sent out yet another cube to all players, another huge thanks to him for his support! The cubes are currently being sent out, so if you have not received it yet that is perfectly normal so be patient :)

Galaxy Life Unreal Engine Questions!

This post is here to clarify us saying we will downgrade people with buildings that aren't made for their starbase, like having Compact Houses lvl 9 or 10 on your a sb5 planet.
The reason for this is to make the game more fair, since people who would have a maxed planet before the update have a direct benefit over people who don't.
We have heard concerns that there is a lot of free loot at starbase 5 that is not really obtainable when upgrading to higher starbases, which we will take in account when reworking attacks for Unreal. But more info on that in the future!
Why rebalance this anyway?
We disagree that having the option to have max houses/banks at starbase 5 is good game design, as their is no real incentive to upgrade on colonies besides that. Obviously this woul'dve changed in the future anyway, with releases such as new starbase levels (omg starbase 10 mention).
We have seen your feedback though and in response we have brought down the costs of troops and buffed income of lower level houses. We will continue to monitor our balancing and see if that was enough!
When?
Seeing as this change was apparently more controversial as we thought, we will give you **at least 6 months** before we do this change. More likely this will just be done when we port Flash data over to Unreal though, so you will have enough time.
We will mention it once we get closer though, so it doesn't take you by surprise.

Galaxy Life Balance changes Units & More
Hello chiefs!
Last update we got a lot of feedback on the change that makes it so you can't build certain houses and mines anymore on Starbase level 5, becuase of that we decided to buff houses and mines and make a lot of changes to the cost of units etc. Please check it out and give us feedback on these changes!
Eventually people with Level 10 Houses & Mines on Starbase 5 will have their Houses & Mines will be downgraded so please upgrade your starbase as soon as possible!
