Game Tycoon 2, Major update to 1.1 released for PC!

- after released a game, in the magazine can be shown, how popular the used technologies are for the release-year. There is now a second page, you can view them (user suggestion)
- in the overview of games, bugs now will be shown in the PC in x,x%, because until now, sometimes games could be patched, which have 0% (but they have 0,x%!), (user suggestion)
- Spanish translation was added
- when I develope a new concept, the latest engine is selected (user suggestion)
- a trend arrow was added to the stock-chart
- added new furnitures to the home area
- with a new button now all employees can be added to a selected project (user suggestion)

Fixed:
- in the market magazine, in the year 2017, only two systems was shown, but there are more for this year
- if you didn't select a contract-sorting and go back, the dropdown is still there

- mission 15 was passed, after attend 2 x 2 exhibitions, instead of 3 x 2
- after patching a game, the vertical scroll alignment was reseted. Now it's at the same position (user suggestion)
- in the PC, when going back from the technology screen and then forward, sometimes some features was still selected
- the stock trend icon was blurred
- after loaded a saved game, click pause, load another game, the game has the same speed
- some spelling mistakes
- missing values in the financial statement at the end of the year (user suggestion)
- costs for (content) patches was not added to the costs of a game (user suggestion)

- after loading a game, one object in the home area was wrong

Balancing:
- the reputation drops a bit more per month (user suggestion)
- the online sales are to less (user suggestion)
- after making a marketing campaign, the reputation should raise lower (user suggestion)
- the start reputation should be lower. So we change it to 75% (easy) and 50% (hard) (user suggestion)
- the share for distribution and publishing contracts should be a bit higher (user suggestion)
- of popular genres, there should be more contract offers (user suggestion)
Major feature update is about to be released shortly
Game Tycoon 2 will soon get a major feature update. The game has already been greatly extended since its release. Then and now, as part of the new update many suggestions of the community have been realized. Soon it will be released on Steam.
The major changes refer to the handling and feedback for the player. For instance, it is possible now to sort the employees. Moreover, the player will get a feedback after the development of a game, revealing how popular used technologies have been in the recent year. It is also possible to play the game now in Spanish. A list of all innovations will be published shortly before the update.

Today the Linux-version of Game Tycoon 2 was released on Steam too. The version contains already all updates to version 1.0.6!

Game Tycoon 2, update to 1.0.6 released!
Here is the changelog:
New:
- contracts can be sorted with several options in a drop-down
- before overwrite/delete old savegames where comes a safety question
- manuals in German and English can now be found in the install directory too
Fixed:
- loading/saving didn't work on a handful PCs, should work now.
- antialiasing in options couldn't be saved
- the trash was moved away from the load/save-button in the load/save menu
- engines can be planned without use a technology
Balancing:
- bugs number was different in the stats in the PC and on the top left info area
- minimum royalty in contracts was set a bit higher
- sales of publisher-contracts was changed a bit
- engine prices was a bit more balanced
- the minimum for save contracts was raised a bit
Known problem:
- on a few PCs the game starts on the right screen. In this case, the right one is the first one. Simple to change: Press ALT+RETURN, move the window to the left screen, press again ALT+RETURN and it will be there, even with the next starts.
NOTE: Savegames from versions 1.0 can be used in this version. Simply rename the "endlessData.gt2s" in the game directory on Steam and into this format:
"endlessData_Name_HH-MM-SS-DD-MM-YYYY.gt2s" - for example: "endlessData_Money_15-21-40-18-04-2016.gt2s" - this file was created on 18th of April 2016, at 15:21:40. Use the current time and you see it in the loading screen after start a game.
Important: Only savegames from version 1.0 are compatible. All earlier savegames (from Early Access versions) can't be used. All later save-games will be shown automatically.
Game Tycoon 2, update to 1.0.5 released!
We appreciate the feedback that we got at release and we take it very serious. That is why we have made an update, add important changes and bug fixes. Here is the changelog:
New:
- now up to 10 save game slots each can be used for the campaign and the endless mode
- we've added a navigation bar on the upper right to getting faster into other scenes
- if the balance is minus, it is read
- employees can be fired, even they are in a project. If they are the last need in the project, it will hold then
- after finishing the beta testing the message also include the game name
- the finish date of a project will be displayed in the project-board
- contract minimum quality will be shown when you click on an entry in the upper left area in the contract tab
- thousands will be corrected now in both currencies
Fixed:
- the bug numbers was wrong in PC compared to the upper info area on the left
- set more stars on the gameplay skills does not add more time
- in a special combination it occurs, that projects was finished but employees are still in it and can't be fired too
- if all available engines was sold, no more costs was taken from the balance until there was at least one new
- adding some features into the engine occurs, that no more engines was sold. Features are now available for the engines if the was researched
- minor graphics bugs
- the interests for loans and investments was calculated wrong
- sometimes ratings of opponent games in the magazine was 100%+
- stocks will be sorted alphabetically
- the date of the exhibition was dated even it was before the first chance to attend there
- sales units will be automatically updated in the warehouse and the info area on the upper left
Balancing:
- the patch costs was to high, we've set them lower
- the engine sales was set lower and more realistic
- for distribution contracts there will be higher percentages available
- more contracts from distributor and publisher available
- more sales possible with distribution- and publisher-contracts
- the reputation drops less per month
Changed:
- to become a stock market company now 30 programmer, 20 artists and 10 musicians as full employed are needed, not 20/20/20
- the project board was refreshed

Game Tycoon 2 is about to leave the Early Access on Friday
On 8th of April 2016 Game Tycoon 2 will leave the Early Access on Steam. The game has been available in the Early Access since October 2015. During this time period, numerous wishes of the community have been realized. However, the development isn’t finished with this final version, yet. The Mac and Linux versions will be released shortly.
