The Can Touch This DLC for Gas Station Simulator will be here in just two weeks so let’s have another look at its other features like rebuilding the gas station using the new hammer tool
HAMMER TOOL
The Hammer Tool is probably the biggest feature of the DLC. It is the go-to tool when it comes to customizing and oh boy can you customize now. You will be able to change walls and roofs and even go as far as change the location of windows. Change the wooden paneling to bricks or stone, or change the appearance completely and make your roof flat which will make your station look completely different.
Windows are another interesting area to change things up. You can transform the interior by putting windows in other places that they are now and do the same with doors.
Combine it with the ability to reposition the cash register you can make people stand where you want them to. Rotate and change the cash register’s position so you can add or remove windows or doors accordingly to even further influence the customer flow. Play around and make your ideas come to life and change everything there is.
Together with even more decorations in the DLC, you will be soon able to transform your station completely.
DECAL TOOL
Another tool that is being added by the DLC is the Decal Tool. It allows you to spray paint practically anything anywhere to make your station look even more interesting and give it an even more personal touch.
Choose from dozens of presets ready for painting, select the tool and paint wherever you please. You can combine them as well so make some nice ornaments or keep them as they are, it’s up to you.

Large update alongside Gas Station Simulator’s first DLC
As posted here there are some pretty nifty things in Gas Station Simulator’s first DLC: Can Touch This and you should definitely check it out. With the release of the DLC just a month away, we will also deploy a larger patch for the base game itself.
Apart of fixes and further optimisation we try to do in every patch/update, the one accompanying the DLC also adds some things the community has been requesting for a while now. While we are going to post details as to what the update is going to contain in about 2 weeks, right now we’d like to pick one thing to give you an idea what to expect.
The patch will contain a lot of smaller things, but small quite often can have a big impact. Case in point: the wall repaint service that will be added to the game. At some point you can’t stand repainting the walls again and again. Sure, when you change the color or experiment around with customisations it’s one thing, but just repainting the same color for maintenance purposes gets old quite quick.
That’s where the wall repaint service comes in. Let someone else do the job for you. Pay them some money and have them deal with the problem of repainting walls while you spend your time doing something else. Like diving into the exciting new features brought by the DLC that you should add to your wishlist right away:

The DLC isn't the only thing to look forward to, though. Accompanying the DLC will be a larger patch for the base game with some neat new features, but more about that next week. Now let's have a look at some of the many things the DLC will bring to the game.
MORE DECORATIONS
We know that you gather (steal) a lot of decorations from people's trunks throughout the game or just buy them from the shop and they end up piling up in your inventory. So now, you can put all the excessive decoration to your warehouse loft.
You can now fully customize your living area, put out decoration, paint the walls and make it to your liking as you couldn’t before!
We’ve also added more decorations to the game in general, so you'll be able to choose from many new gems you’ll find in the game.
This doesn’t only apply to the warehouse, but also to the workshop! Now you can finally change the look of the entire gas station premises.
EXTRA LEVELS
We also know that this is something that every player went through when playing Gas Station Simulator. Reaching the final upgrade of each service and wanting more from it. From Gas Station to the latest Car Wash, we heard you and now we deliver.
With the upcoming DLC, you will be able to upgrade your Gas Station by 2 additional levels, Warehouse by 2 additional levels and Workshop by 1 more level. Those upgrades will of course come with appropriate perks such as more storage capacity and expansion of the building.
So remember, once the DLC is out on May 11th 2022, jump into the game, gather new decorations, earn more money and further expand your business with new mechanics and customization opportunities! Announcing Gas Station Simulator’s first DLC and road map for 2022
Today, we are very excited to finally announce our first DLC for the Gas Station Simulator. Can Touch This will be the very first DLC for the game and will introduce far reaching customization options for your gas station, workshop and warehouse.
From customizing walls and roofs up to changing position of windows, doors, trashcans or cash register, the DLC offers many new things that might catch your eye. Stickers that you can spray anywhere on your gas station, more interior & exterior decorations and also more levels and employees!
The news however doesn’t stop there. Just have a look at the first part of the Gas Station Simulator road map for 2022 to see what you can expect in the future.
We decided to share with you our plans for the future of Gas Station Simulator by releasing the first bit of our road map for the game for 2022! Many of you have been asking what bigger things, beside patches and smaller content updates, we have in store for you and now is the time to find out.
The first part of the road map starts off with the already released Car Wash, followed by Can Touch This. Next will be a much larger DLC called Shady Deals that will transform the game completely and stands true to its name.
Apart from these DLCs, we are still planning to release more updates to the game and more DLCs later on. There will be a larger update to the game shortly before Can Touch This is being released that will bring some features to the game that have been requested a lot. A wall repaint service or some cool cleaning help, anyone?
Last but not least there will even be versions for consoles and macOS later this year! Yes, a lot is going to happen in and around Gas Station Simulator in the future :-)

Hot Fix
This hot fix comes with various bug fixes, further performance improvements and fixes a crash related to the car wash.
Stability
Fixed a crash related to the Car Wash.
Bug Fixes
Ordering over 1000 units of anything should now be possible (in some saves it was still prevented with the last fix).
Loans will now correctly subtract money and remove popularity. Loans will also automatically be paid off if you have enough money when the load period ends, rather than causing penalties.
Using RMB when dropping cargo/boxes from delivery trucks will now always correctly return the box to the truck and the truck driver will no longer drive away with your goods if you do this on the last box of the set.
We've disabled the 'Lift Car' button during the initial tutorial 'Fix the Car' quest, and enabled ordering of car parts on this quest already. The reason for this change is that players were getting stuck on this quest when they threw away the parts or failed to repair a car fully until they ran out of parts. This change should significantly decrease any chance of getting locked out of progress.
Performance
We've optimized NPCs so they use less resources when idling. Further optimizations have been made to parked cars as well. At higher gas station levels the measured performance increase should be between 10-20% with recommended hardware or above. We're continuing to look at further optimizations on both CPU and GPU.
If you are noticing your performance dropping while washing cars, you can reduce the 'Effects' settings in Graphics Options to reduce the amount of particles that are being spawned and thus improve performance significantly.
Food Truck Simulator Contest

Announcing Motel Simulator to expand the gas station
A lot of the player base agrees, that beside a diner that will come with our Road Diner Simulator, the gas station could really do with a motel. That’s where Motel Simulator will come in. Like Road Diner, Motel Simulator will be very tightly integrated with both games and things you do on the gas station and/or at the diner, will influence the motel and vice-versa.
Road Diner and Motel are by far not the only things that are happening in the world of Gas Station Simulator right now. Not only are we working on the next update with more improvements, within a week or two we will also announce the first two DLCs for Gas Station Simulator that are both already being worked on.
