Our new game Prognostic is available in Early Access

Our team has been working on Prognostic for over a year and now you can finally play it. In this mystical horror, you will be able to solve crimes through communication with spirits.

Every evening you will be sent a new case, which you can solve with the help of ancient rites (such as Tarot, dowsing, runes and others). Various fortune-telling rituals give their own clues, so you determine the course of the investigation. But remember — contact with spirits may draw some unwanted attention.

Important announcement

One month ago Geeksos was uploaded on Steam. During this time we've released eight updates. Now we want to summarize our work and make an announcement.

Thanks to Early Access, in just a few weeks we managed to complete the work, which would take us several months of closed debugging and testing. Your feedback allowed us to make gameplay faster and smoother, to improve balance and effectiveness of items, and create a new level, that was based on your suggestions. We managed to improve the quality of graphics and performance, but at the same time preserve fast loading speed of locations. And of course, your feedback in the discussions and videos allowed us to identify a number of errors, both in the code and in the text of the game.

Unfortunately, the circumstances are such that at the moment we can't continue our work on Geeksos. Current sales of the game doesn't allow us to maintain the previous rate of updates. Because of this, we decided to postpone the development of Geeksos indefinitely.

We leave with the finished project on our hands, a full-fledged game that is fun to play. Just like with most game projects in the industry, we would like to do a lot more: add new elements, make existing elements bigger and deeper. However, the project is completed, and in the end we are proud of what we achieved. Today Geeksos already has:
• Fast and challenging gameplay that combines elements of stealth and shooter.
• Diligently build levels, filled with details (and references).
• Variety of hero abilities and upgrades, which makes it possible to complete levels in a different ways.
• Various types of weapons with dozens of improvements for them.
• Cybernetic augmentations that will not only increase your basic parameters, but also open for you new game mechanics: remote hacking, invisibility, silent running or the ability to take out robots with bare fists - these are just a few of them .
• Consumable items, drugs and devices that will increase your tactical abilities: time delayers, adrenaline mixes, portable turrets, several types of mines and grenades (one of which calls the hologram of the dancer to distract your enemies) and many others.
• Several endings in which you not only determine your fate, but also the future of the gaming industry.

Thank you for continuing to support us all this time. We hope that we will be able to return to the Geeksos in one form or another. In the meantime, we will be very glad if you meet our new game just as well as this one.

Patch 04/29/2019

In this update, we added a new level, made some changes to the levels, enemies, as well as the work of "portable turret."

New level:
We've added the level «Judgment day” to the game. In this level you will have to go to the city docks and stop new threat.

Other changes:
• We've changed the hologram grenade. Now if the enemy is distracted by it, he will not notice the player until he gets injured.
• The distance of enemy visibility was reduced to 12 Geeksos-meters.
• We removed infinite ammo from the "I know every step" level. If there was an endless ammo mag in your equipment, now it will end after the next use.
• If you press R to reload at the moment when there are two sets of ammo in your inventory, the priority of use will be with the one that has fewer cartridges.
• Previously, the portable turret exploded with the Kamikaze drone effect, now it has a different explosion effect.
• The accuracy, damage, and durability of the portable turret have been reduced.
• Now the affected area of ​​the portable turret is shown on the screen.

Patch (04.23.2019)

In this update, we decided to take a look at the game dynamic and to slightly speed it up. Here are a few changes that address this issue:
• Now you can turn off the alarm. To do this, you need to get to the security panel and hack it before the arrival of reinforcements. As follow up to this change, we also changed the time of reinforcements arrival. Now it is 15 seconds instead of 30.
• We slightly reduced the enemy accuracy. In the end, not all of them are robots.
• Speed of changing weapons were doubled.
• We continue to work on the mines efficiency. Now the prices of mines were adjusted to the prices of grenades.
• Kinetic absorber no longer consumes an energy. After installing it will allow you to run silently for free.

Other changes:
• We added another enemy to the “Tale of two gangs” level.
• We added a first-aid kit to the bathroom in the "Street knowledge" level.
• A bug, in which security panel trap were discharged immediately after hacking, was fixed.
• The starting point of the shots has been changed. Now, if you shoot at your enemies upclose, bullet will still be hitting them.
• Previously, your enemies activated the alarm a little faster than the activation sound lasted. Now the activation time and sound length are the same.

Patch (04/22/2019)

In today's update, we made several changes to the balance. We also improved graphics in one of the levels.

Graphics:
Quality of lighting was improved it the level "The Tale of Two Gangs".

Game balance:
• Throwing speed of grenades was increased.
• Field of view of the enemies was reduced.
• Static mine no longer slows down the player.

Patch (04/19/2019)

In today's update we added Difficulty setting to the game options and made several other changes:


• Now you can chose game Difficulty in the settings menu. It will changes how much damage your enemies inflict from their weapons. For example, Very Easy difficulty seriously reduces damage of enemies and is recommended for those who just want to relax and have fun.

Other changes:
• Weapons with automatic fire mode were spending ammo too fast. We've increased basic ammo capacity in the weapons of this type.
• Now enemies will stop more often during firefights. With this change we want to reduce randomness of the gunfight.
• Patrol rote of one of the guards was changed on a second level.
• Now by moving the cursor you can move the camera even further. This will make level exploration easier and might help you with planning.
• In the prologue hero could see an explosion twice if player chose to return back after death. It now fixed.

Quick update (04.18.2019)

Here's the quick balance update:
• We increased the basic accuracy of several weapon types. This should make the start of the game more comfortable and reduce level of randomness during firefights.
• Silencers will no longer reduce weapon damage. This is the first step towards making stealth action easier.

Patch (04/18/2019)

Today's update is mainly aimed at improving the visual components of the game:

• Now the turret visually shows you when it's turned off from electrical damage.
• Mines were not used as often as we intended, so we decided to increase their detonation radius. We also added a visual clue of their radius so you can use them more effectively.
• We reduced brightness of object oultlines.
• In some cases hologram could partially fall under the floor during activation. It now fixed.
• We changed design of numerous enemies to better suit corresponding levels. Now you can see women among your enemies (we added new voices for them).
• Level “I know every step” was slightly changed. We improved quality of lighting and added sirens inside the building.
• The arrival time of the car at the beginning of every level has been reduced. More action, less waiting.

Patch from 04/17/2019

First day of early access allowed us to better understand issues with the game balance and identify number of bugs. Here is a brief summary of changes that we prepared:

Steam changes:
We've added to the game 32 new achievements for you, achievement hunters.

Game mechanics and balance
• We tested all levels and determined where players might have the most of the problems. Position of some objects, items, as well as patrol routes were changed. We want the game to remain challenging, but fair and open to various play styles.
• Electricity damage from grenades and mines now can permanently disable electronic enemies (such as turrets and drones). We are working on tuning item powers and want to see how that upgrade can change level dynamics.
• Area of camera view were decreased. This should increase room for maneuvers during the playthrough.

Bug fixes:
• Now enemies with firearms will stop trying to ram you. They will shoot you from a distance.
• Previously, flash grenade caused chaotic movement among enemies. Now it does what it supposed to do — stops and than blinds them.
• Fixed a bug, when a guard, who saw the hero, could sometimes just return to his patrol.
• Fixed a bug, when turrets could occasionally show extrasensory abilities and see the hero through the wall.

Quick update

Hey. Geeksos is finally out in Early Access! Now we have moved to the next stage of work, and it directly depends on your feedback and comments. Our first level fix of is based on them.
We reduced number of opponents and added several useful items at the level of “Street knowledge”.
Our next quick update will increase the number of achievements in the game.
