We've been doing a closed beta test and we've received a lot of helpful feedback and bug reports. We're still going through a list of changes to make, as well as features to implement before release. The plan is to release a bigger set of beta keys once we've attended to the biggest concerns of the current beta test.
New features:
- Decorative flash of "Fans" / "Rank" when updated in main menu.
- Implemented input manager for personal configuration of controls.
- Added cursor in game rooms when needed.
- Implemented pause menu on "Escape".
- Menu navigation with arrow keys.
- Menu navigation with gamepad.
Changes:
- Made use of input manager to later make reconfigurable controls.
- Removed horizontal camera panning when spectating.
- Disabled camera controls upon death.
- Added support for "üÜåÅäÄöÖ" in texts.
- Set steam nickname as default value when setting nickname for the first time.
- Fan count updated directly after successful run.
Bug fixes:
- Stopped timer after death / finish.
- SteamID not stored properly in DB.
We just released a big update for our current demo / beta version of the game. The new update was mainly centered around fixing GUI elements, but it also comes with a huge change in game play, a new mechanic. If you've played the game before, you already know that the game can be quite hard and challenging with the minimalist approach we've taken. With this new mechanic, you may find the game even a bit harder, and finding the ultimate path a bigger journey.
