14.4.2023 Patch Notes:


  • Progress was previously disabled for some buildings due to multiplying with zero
  • Political power is now accumulated 25% faster
  • Liquid Waste accumulation tripled
  • Farm is now using Gel Substance
  • Fixed a coloring issue with a button in save panel
  • Big Housing was left transparent after building Distribution Center or Security building
  • "Road missing" was bloating the log due to triggering for each passenger
  • "Biotech farmer" text was overflowing from it's text box
  • Changed "workers" text in building pop up to the exact job names
  • Management panel previously had passive policies as toggleable (which is how shouldn't be)
  • Removed automation from some buildings

Tutorial system coming up!

Hello everyone!

The tutorial system has been in the works for some time now. It still needs testing out tweaking.



It has 19 steps, though it could have even more. It mainly outlines the basic aspects of gameplay and leaves the rest of the more complex systems for the player to figure out. The game has a LOT of tooltips and a great log-window that tells most of the things the player wants to know, so the information is not hidden at any points.

If it seems like the player needs some kind of a bigger system that delves deeper into the systems I might create that, but at the moment it is not a priority.

The tweaking, polishing and bug fixing list still has lots of things to do before a closed playtest for the community.

Playtesting in progress

Playtesting is in progress and todo-list is filling with mostly with smaller bugs and quality of life improvements!

A lot of fixing and tweaking with the game speed and balance mostly to keep it relaxing enough to not quit playing altogether, but at the same time keeping it difficult and slow enough to feel the progression.

Pre-alpha playtesting has started!


Hello fellow space ship managers!

The pre-alpha testing phase has for Generation Nova has started. Currently most of the systems have been built in and the game is playable without any game breaking bugs. The next major milestone is to fine tune the balancing of resource production and building systems for an enjoyable game experience.

Tutorial system will be built after the testing phase. Be sure to stay updated on the news about the game by subscribing on Youtube and/or wishlisting the game!
