We have changed our default character aiming behaviour to be more in suit with other twin-stick shooting games.
Previously while walking, our characters were facing the walking direction and only rotated to aim direction while shooting (on the right). With the new system, the character always faces the aim direction while not digging terrain (on the left).
If you already got used to the previous system, we have added an option to gameplay options to use our previous system.
What do you guys think? Do you prefer the new system or the old system?

We are very pleased to announce that Gerty early access will be publicly available 3rd of December 2018 for PC, MacOS and Linux.

Demo updated!
We have just released a small update to the demo. Here's the changes that you may immediately notice:
Fog of War visuals have been updated. Now the character's Field of View is more cone shaped and directed where the character is looking. This means you can see more clearly ahead, but things behind the character are more obscured than previously.
We have added shadows to characters and monsters. This makes them pop a little more from the background and gives a more 3D appearance overall.
As usual, there's also minor fixes and improvements included.

Linux & Mac Demo available!
Linux & Mac version of our free demo are now avaiable. Both have been tested to run, but OS specific bugs/crashes might still be present.
