Ghostly Horizon is now Free To Play!
Try it out by yourself or with your friends now!
The Free to Play version of Ghostly Horizon includes:
- One gameworld (planet).
- Singleplayer
- Coop (2-10 players)
- Competitive PvP (2-64 players)
- GameModes: Survival, Invasion, Battle Royale, Arena and Conquest.
Ghostly Horizon is created by one person with no funding. The goal is to have an active and fun playerbase for the game, profit was never the aim for this game.
The official servers cost about 120 EUR each month though and to fund this, new gameworlds (planets) will be released as paid DLCs for a very low price.
Players that owned the game before the change to Free To Play will get access to all future gameworlds for free.
Looking forward to some spellcasting mayhem with you all now!
Free To Play is coming!
Ghostly Horizon will change into a Free To Play game and we are aiming at making this transition on Friday, August 24th.
Ghostly Horizon has had a few surges of player activity but due to a low playerbase it's hard to find an online game to join and players who want to play leave the game.
Most player who try the game out think it's a very fun and interesting game but without a proper playerbase the game is not realizing its full potential.

I'm currently looking into how to make all new planets available to the people who have already paid for the game.
Looking forward to some spellcasting mayhem with all of you soon!

Bugs or Proglems?
Please contact me at Contact@GhostlyHorizon.com
I'm the developer of Ghostly Horizon, I notice that some reviews are just bugs for individual people.
The problem is that I cannot get in contact with the reviewers to get a bug-report or to solve the bug..
Steam leaves no way to contact a reviewer unfortunately other than sending a friends request!
EctoMeow:
The malware detection is most likely because the game starts another executable, both when you play the game and when you want to start Matchmaking, and the matchmaker will also create a new file on the computer that includes the matched servers IP so that the game can read that file and connect to the IP.
This is not a bug or a malware it is just your malware program being very strict.
Nanawo99:
This is due to de-sync between the Client and the Server.
When playing Solo a Server is launched on your computer that the Client connects to, this is because the game is designed as a multiplayer game that allows singleplayer.
I would love to know if this still happends when you try again since you only have 0.1h as playtime..
And what happends when you play on official online servers.
As said, please don't put bugs in the reviews as your first and only action.
Come to me with them instead so I can solve them!

- AI bug-fixing and optimization done, the difficulty scale from easiest to hardest feels better.
- Invasion and Survival now has a Start Round button and no countdown that start the game-round.
