Gift To Humanity is no longer in development

My apologies to everyone who supported the project during its alpha and were excited to see it taken further, but due to the reasons below I’ve decided to retire the project.

As many of you know Ultima Games is a 1-man studio. The game was originally designed as a top-down action RPG, but I truly wanted to listen to the community and eventually ported the game to a third person perspective. It took me a long time to accept the fact that I don't have a big enough budget or free time available to make a viable game in this genre, with the quality just not living up to reasonable expectations.

This decision only means there will be no more updates to the game, but it will still be available in your libraries.

MAJOR UPDATE LIVE


This is the first public update to GTH in a long time and a lot has changed thanks to player feedback. The game has been split into a series of missions to allow for a more challenging experience. Missions are also ranked on a public leader board to compete with other players. Obviously many other changes were implemented to allow the new game mode and I hope everyone enjoys this major overhaul of the game.

GIFT TO HUMANITY: Update Live

The latest update is now live with the following changes:

Phase-Shift: The game just got a lot faster with phase-shift, allowing you to teleport of all over the place.


Vital Areas: Head shots now deal additional damage to enemies.


AI Update: AI will now behave more realistically and patrol the map while out of combat.

MAJOR UPDATE: Third Person | Campaign | AI | Co-op | Arena



On player demand Gift To Humanity was reworked and converted from a top-down to third-person shooter putting you right in the action.

Campaign: Chapter 2 has been finalized and is now fully playable which includes new enemies, skills, gear and some more pieces of the puzzle.

AI Update: Converting the game from top-down to third-person required an complete rework of AI.

Co-op: On request co-op has been added and is now available for public beta testing. You can now enjoy the campaign with your friends.

Arena: With co-op making its way into the game I decided to add arena as a bonus. Here you can challenge your friends to a game of wits and skills.

Just a minor patch, thanks for feedback everyone.

- Mission Waypoints: Waypoints were added to more missions.

- Gear Attributes: The way gear attributes are distributed changed to allow for more control and better balancing in future updates. (Current gear might have stats reset)
