Hey there! A few more updates from us before weekends:
We’ve redone the description of the employees. They are telling their perspective on certain things about their job including the complexity of tasks, balance between working and learning and so on.
It’s also displayed how do their thoughts affect their happiness level, and as a result, work efficiency. In order to keep your team motivated, it’s required to react to happiness decrease.
The next week we will introduce a few more mechanics in the game.
Thank you so much for the feedback left in the community hub, discord and everywhere else. It is really important to grow the game you are interested in playing!
Balance patch 1.4.0
It’s been a while. We’ve got some fresh updates which are huge balance improvements!
What’s new?
During the start of your own project, you are able to determine an estimated quantity of tasks for design, coding, and management. When your project reaches the specified values, it gets released on the market.
We’ve received a couple of complaints about broken saves. We’ve implemented a feature that fixes the save once it’s loaded.
As said, this release is a whole lot of improvements, as such:
We’ve totally redone the way project iterations and complexity growth works.
Employees learning logic is changed to be more realistic
Notifications are reduced to show only important things
The freelance project offers dynamically vary their rewards basing on your job history
Office and equipment were rebalanced
PR logic has been rebalanced. Now you won’t be a successful company without using it
The exchange got a better layout
Wow, what a week! Can’t wait to release new features in Public Relations, Office and maybe own shares issuance :)
Keep it up!
Soundtrack release 1.3.0
Go to IT soundtracks are now integrated in the game!
All music was produced by The Flashbulb. He is a great composer who inspires us a lot in our work. We are very pleased about using his masterpieces in Go to IT.
Check out The Flashbulb on Bandcamp
Soundtracks change depending on the success of your company to add more dynamics to the gameplay. We plan to continue improving the sound engine in future releases.
As for the other improvements:
Happiness of employees changes more obvious that it was before. It’s easier to manage the happiness level of your teammates now.
Employees’ thoughts represent the game situation more accurately, false thoughts were fixed
Thanks to the community for the immersed feedback. We hope that it’s clear how your contribution makes Go to IT better.
See you!
Performance Update 1.2.0
We’ve received plenty of complaints about performance. This patch will change that.
Improvements:
Performance. Now the game should be stable even with big teams. Gaming on 3x speed decreases the performance, but this will be fixed in the next patch
Own projects reward. Self-made projects now have decreased reward rates and the revenue decreases through time
New Features:
Company name. During the start of the game, you are able to enter the name of your company
Market is now changing rapidly. Other companies will try to beat your top projects to be better. If you want to save your revenue, it’s time to check out market top and maybe adjust your technology preference ;)
Bugs fixed:
Not working achievements “Getting things done” and “Reinventing the wheel” are now fixed
Timeline doesn’t show events that won’t occur (previously dismissed employees were shown there)
What’s next?
Increasing performance
Employee's thoughts balancing
We also plan to integrate official sound track in the next patch.
Keep it up!
New Year Patch Notes
Holidays? Nah, check out what we’ve done with this year’s last release! We focused on own projects and performance.
Own projects are now long-term. After their release, they continue to float on the market and generate revenue.
We also optimized the exchange’s performance and overall performance of the game. Hope for your feedback on that one specifically!
And to not over the party, we brought a couple of bug fixes:
Game saves now autosaving frequently. There should be no situation when you load the save and get thrown back in time
Salary raise works properly adding 10% of existing salary to employee’s check
Doubled platforms in own project platform selection are gone
Employees assignment on own project creation fixed
We wish you a lot of new accomplishments in 2019. Plenty of updates on Go to IT coming up in the new year. So see you there.
Yours,
Black Deck Crew

Patch release notes 1.1.3
It’s been a while! We want to introduce a few major updates included in the patch:
Employees are personalized with traits
Traits are sets of character qualities, that each employee has. They help to bring diversity and let players enjoy more strategic choices when forming their teams.
There are currently 26 traits in-game, which together make a huge number of unique combinations that you can encounter when hiring.
Project technologies have been updated
Technologies now have much more clear and understandable descriptions, which will help players decide on whether or not to use them in their projects.
“Motivation” technology has been removed from the game, replaced by “Recreational activities”.
“Recreation activities” is a new technology, that allows a project team to spend some of their working time on recreation, accumulating temporary boost to Happiness.
“Overtimes” technology now triggers a visible Morale bar which represents willingness to work overtime and their exhaustion from doing it.
Other features implemented in this patch:
Hackathons introduced a separate project type!
“1, 2, 3” - this buttons change the game speed now.
Equipment got rebalanced
Major bugs fixed:
Own projects won’t fail on loading save of the game
Performance issues are partly resolved
Due to some tech issues, Linux users will receive the update delayed in a day or two.
Thank you for leaving feedback, stay tuned!

Monday night patch notes 1.1.2
In a new version, we expanded office capabilities and integrated Steam Overlay.
Specifically, you can have a certain room in your office that affects work efficiency as well as manage your team’s stamina level.
Besides that, we want to introduce an indication of some methodologies. Now you are able to track whether your methodology choice is relevant to the current work in progress.
From now on Non-stop refactoring and Test Driven Development have their own indication. We plan to continue this expansion.
Included bugfixes:
Employees have a normal level of happiness entering the company
The exchange got more optimized.
Small not profitable projects won’t come to your inbox
Back button on creation steps added
Thanks every reviewer who leaves feedback on the game, it's really leading us to a better product.
