Goaltender VR patch note (EA #2b)



1) Fixed game starting with wrong default goal size
* this means if you did not change goal size from the training menu, cannon would still aim near large goal (even if goal size was medium), so all the shots would miss the goal.

2) Small changes to the puck/ball despawn
* in rare scenarios last shot would not be counted as goal.

1) Added 4 new achievements.

2) Gear color customisation saving/loading is now working.

3) Added "Exit Game" button below main GUI window.

4) You can now select training object in "arcade mode" (ball or puck).

5) Increased arcade mode rounds from 6 to 18 (speed increases every 18 shots).

6) Added "achievement banners" in-game (near roof) for ego boosting.

7) Other minor changes (text changes, starting spawn location and small UI tweaks).

"does not support your currently active headset" warning messages

We have received few reports that some players are getting "Goaltender VR does not support your currently active headset" warning messages when trying to launch the game. Simply by clicking "OK" will close the warning window and Goaltender VR should starts normally without problems.

However, if you get the warning message and game refuses to launch or/and crashes, we would appreciate if you would let us know. We are looking into this issue.

We are finally here it has been a long road

Last year in November we had the first Goaltender VR prototype up and running and today we are very happy to report that we are finally able to bring our game into early access.

Current Early Access status
Since the game was orginally built with the Oculus API it means there are a few features still missing, but we are hard at work porting them over to a Steam version. Some of the upcoming features includes leaderboards, new game modes and as well as the ability to customize your own training gear.

Update cycle
We are focused to update at least every two (2) weeks with new features.

Community feedback
We would love to hear suggestions for future updates from the community! Would it be small or big feature request, every piece of feedback is valuable to us !
