We made a game, much different than God of Word, but with an equal amount of love poured into it and a similar desire to pump it with way too much content. And to celebrate, God of Word is also going on sale for one week! Yay!
Shank n' Bake is about a masochistic, drug-fueled muffin rampaging across the land killing healthy foods to save his kind. An infinite runner with unlockable cosmetics, boss fights, story cutscenes and over an hour of violent screaming deaths, Shank n' Bake is our twisted take on the genre.

Hello all! We've received a good helping of feedback from the community since our last patch, so we decided to take some time to address these concerns in our latest update:
Cyclops fight has been rebalanced. Starting Consciousness has been raised and the rate at which it depletes has been lowered (from every 0.25s to 0.4s).
All difficulty levels have had their Consciousness depletion amounts lowered
Fixed an issue where the Bronze Armour would increase the timer during the Cyclops fight
Enemies in the 4th and 5th acts have had their health totals rebalanced, as the difficulty spike was quite jarring
Added 50+ missing common Spanish words to the Spanish dictionary
Small UI adjustments
Small bug fixes

Reduced Charge required for all weapons by 20%

Changed Hangman per-guess timer to 20 seconds
Created Rehearsal (Very Easy) difficulty for the Typing Mode

Greatly improved upon the potion cooldown graphic
Hangman & Chest answers will stay on screen longer so you can see what they were more easily

Hey everyone!
Back again with another Patch. Here's the changes:
Fixed issue with some achievements sometimes not updating progress correctly
Medusa mirror tile is now more easily distinguishable from other tiles
Key press sound will now play when you enter a correct letter in Typing Mode
Base Hangman guesses increased from 3 to 5
Price of potions has been dramatically decreased from 2500 to 500 gold
Easy Difficulty for Typing has been updated. Scenarios with many enemies on screen at once are now balanced correctly.

Hello everyone!
We've taken some of the feedback we've gathered already and have pushed a new patch live. Here are the changes:
Hard+ Difficulty added to Combat Difficulty selection (for those word Gods out there)
Typing & Combat Marathon Leaderboards have been added for each difficulty
Typing Marathon end slate now has "Next" and "Retry" buttons. Next will change the typing scenario to a new random one, and retry will restart the current scenario
Various bug fixes
Legitimate minor text fixes

Closed Beta Testers Wanted
Hi everyone,
As we approach our release date (September 30th), we're looking for some last minute opinions and testing from our community. God of Word now has Trading Cards and Steam Achievements!
God of Word will have several trading cards for you to collect and trade. Each one depicting a famous creature or event from Greek Mythology.
God of Word will also have a multitude of Steam Achievements for you to unlock and prove that you are a master of words. All achievements will be single player focused.
