Golf Masters Vive compatibility
We've been working diligently on delivering a top virtual golf experience with Golf Masters and development is on schedule. If you are at all familiar with the game, you may be aware that the swing mechanic implemented in the Oculus version of the game utilized a single button power swing mechanic. While this did deliver a great experience on the DK2, this simple swinging mechanic simply does not translate to the realistic room scale tracking that the Vive provides.

While optimizing the game assets and course geometry to ensure that the game will run at constant 90FPS on the high resolution on the Vive, we also are converting all of the game controls to take advantage of the Vive motion controls to bring a never before sense of realism to virtual golf.

We fully intend to implement multiplayer capabilities to the initial release of Golf Masters, but this implementation will compete after full motion controls are fininshed and tested.

Golf Masters Development Update 7/23
Hello supporters, wanted to break the radio silence to give everyone a update on the progress of Golf Masters. We've deep in development on this title and everything is progressing well for a launch on the Vive as well and the Oculus Rift.

We're currently in the process of upgrading the course models and menus, no small task considering that there is over 5 square kilometers of course, all accessible at a 1:1 scale in virtual reality. We have received our Vive development kit from Valve and are very excited to show everyone how room scale tracking changes the game of video game golf, literally! Now you can walk around the greens to get a good read on your lie and aim your shot.

As our ship window is extremely short (<5 months) for a title of this scale, we want to make sure that we keep our list of features for launch reasonable, but we in addition to 18 hole 72 par championship course, we also plan to include a driving range and online leaderboard for those competitive minded individuals.

Online multiplayer is on the roadmap as well, but honestly will most likely not be in the Vive launch edition, as it's quite a bit to add and test in such a short development cycle. Rest assured, we'll be supporting this title for some time with more content, so stay tuned!
