I Pumped Up That Tute!
It was about time for Gooberries to get a total makeover in the tutorial department. So I took it, rewrote every word, made it look a little prettier...and I think we've finally got something good!

Now that should really get players going as they dive deep into the Gooberverse! Just to clarify...my witty commentary is not part of the game. It's just for you lucky ones on the Youtubes haha. I had to say that because when I don't i'll inevitably get a comment about how my voice shouldn't be part of the game.
What's Next?
Well not a whole lot. I've got some bips and bops to work out. I want to add a little decor to the market building. But for the most part, Gooberries is complete! Now it's time to focus on the full release. Picking a date, contacting the press and all that other fun stuff.
But don't worry. This isn't the last you'll hear of me :) I'll see you next time in the Gooberverse.
Gooberries Found It's Purpose!
I added a progress meter to your home terrarium. Right off in the corner. The purpose of this progress meter? It shows the player how many Gooberries they've unlocked in the market. And with that...we officially have a PURPOSE. A reason to exist in the Gooberverse. A goal to work towards.
What is that purpose?
It should have been obvious from the get to. The new addition of this progress meter really helped shine a light on it though. The goal is to UNLOCK all of the Gooberries in the market. It's not going to be that simple though because unlocking new items required GEMS and you're going to have to earn those with a little hard work.

What's next?
So now that Gooberries has found its purpose. Its time to renovate the tutorial. To really explain to the player why they ended up in the Gooberverse. It's the last step on the roadmap to the full release. It's finally here...I can't believe it!
Keepin' Track of Stats
Pacing is an important aspect of any game. And the addition of the new stats page does just that. At the end of each day in the Gooberverse, a screen will pop up to give you a breather, pat you on the back and show you what an amazing job you've done.
It's one of those things that isn't too exciting in and of itself. It does however FEEL amazing. It breaks the gameplay up. Puts a spotlight on a days work. Shows you everything you've been doing from planting, to harvesting, to poppin Goobers and more.
Let's Take a Look

In Conclusion
I love these sort of updates. Sure they aren't flashy. They don't contain and new artwork. And the player barely notices it's even there. But they sure would notice if it wasn't!
