It's time! Grand Prototype updates to the main branch with Unreal Engine 5! After a few turbulent years, the first update is now available for all testers.
In addition to the graphical upgrade, multiplayer opens up completely new possibilities. Many vehicles and functions are currently not available, but will be available again.

State of Grand Prototype
A lot has happened since the last update...
Due to some changes in my private environment, work on GP was temporarily stopped. Now that the Unreal Engine 5 is available, I decided to redevelop the project on the UE5. One reason for this was, among other things, that the multiplayer could not be implemented well before. We are currently approaching a level where the results are presentable again. The first pictures can be seen on the website.
It may take a while until DeV.21. The experimental tests are already underway. If you have any questions or key requests, you can contact me on the Discord.

Here is a list of a few of the new changes.
New features:
<*> There is now a button in the pause menu that leads to the GP support page. <*> Revision of the new "AVS" vehicle system.
Fixed issues:
<*> The "Esc" key has been redesigned so that it closes the correct menus in a context-related manner without having to struggle with invisible mouse pointers.
Known problems:
<*> The graphics settings are not saved after restarting the game. <*> The placement in the race is not shown. <*> After a race on a dedicated map, the main menu does not come automatically. <*> AVS vehicles sometimes have problems accepting gas. <*> Multiplayer doesn't work yet. Hello!
After a long break, the next update for Grand Prototype is finally here! Since the last version was released quite a while ago, I only roughly know it was new.
AVS Test: The "Advanced Vehecle System" will soon replace the current system and thus revise the vehicle physics. A map including a car are provided for testing.
Weapon test: A map was modified to test the AI and weapons.
Multiplayer Multiplayer has been redesigned and should FINALLY work now ...
UI Some UI elements have been revised.
You have to find the rest of the changes yourself.
