First of all, thanks to everyone who played the demo so far! Steam Next Fest was an hectic experience and got many feedbacks that I'm using to finish up the development.
A lot of things have been happening in the background since the Steam Next Fest has ended.
So! Just a quick digest:
・Asobu Indie Connect 2022 (Tokyo) GRAPPIN was featured during the Asobu Indie Connect 2022! Featuring new (hot!) gameplay footage! It is an honor to be part of this show and many thanks to asobu crew for making this happening.
・BitSummit X-Roads (Kyoto) GRAPPIN was showcased there and as usual, it was an hectic experience!
・gamescom 2022 (Cologne) GRAPPIN will be showcased at gamescom 2022 (from today!) as part of the Japan Pavilion, courtesy of Indie Live Expo! This is the first time the game will be showcased in Europe and I'm so excited for this!
・Busan Indie Connect 2022 (South Korea) GRAPPIN has been selected to BIC 2022 and will be playable! If you're in Busan, come say hi!
・New key-art! Takaya Imamura created a new illustration for GRAPPIN. We wanted the new illustration to emphasize the grapple hook action!
・Next? I'm still busy finishing up the game and I hope to announce something concerning the release date soon!

GRAPPIN News #5 - The demo is now available!

It's been a while!
I'm glad to announce that GRAPPIN is part of the Steam Next Fest!
A demo is now available for all to play!
The demo features the Valley of Trials, a luxurious place full of green. The Valley of Trials serves as a starting point in your adventure and where you will have to prove yourself worthy of the Grip.
This is just a taste of what's to come in the full version of the game, coming later this year. After all of the work in my spare time, releasing a demo feels unreal and I'm happy to be able to finally share it. Hoping to read many feedbacks in the coming days! I also hope that you will like what you hear, Benoit brought a lot of life in this world!
By the way, there is a GRAPPIN's official Discord server! Feel free to join the fun and share feedbacks, discoveries and bugs (I hope not for the latter) or just chat!

GRAPPIN News #4 - Some news!
Hi there!
I hope you all had a good start into 2022!
I have been particularly busy, especially on debugging and polishing GRAPPIN. Benoit has finished his work on the soundtrack and still fixing and adding new sounds here and there. Things are looking good!

To celebrate this, Takaya Imamura (former Nintendo Art Director on The Legend of Zelda series, StarFox series and F-ZERO series) unveiled the official character's artwork for GRAPPIN's main character!
GRAPPIN will be released this year and I hope to have more stuff to show soon!

GRAPPIN News #2 - Release Date Update
Hello everyone,
I have been working on GRAPPIN alone in my spare time, with Benoit who is in charge of the soundtrack and sound design.
We were aiming to release the game this year but after a playtest session (which went well!), we figured that a lot of fixes are needed if we were to put GRAPPIN to the quality level we are seeking for.
GRAPPIN will be released somewhere in early 2022.
We're not far from the final game but we need to put more work in the polish and bug fixing. Game development is tough, making a game on your own is even tougher and making on your own AND in your spare time is definitely something else...
Nevertheless, I hope that you're looking forward to GRAPPIN!
GRAPPIN News #1 - BitSummit the 8th Bit & Asobu Indie Showcase

First of all, thank you for wishlisting GRAPPIN and your interest!
As you may already know, GRAPPIN was showcased during BitSummit the 8th Bit held in Kyoto, Japan, (September 2~3) https://bitsummit.org/en/game/8439/
It went great, lots of people enjoyed the game and I gathered a lot of feedbacks!
