FREE multiplayer mode coming this month!
Dear students and concerned parents,
After reviewing your requests to attend classes together, the school board has decided that Gravewood High's multiplayer mode will be free for everyone!
We hope to release the update on July 27, so we will be making several important changes to Gravewood High soon:
The Gravewood High Steam page will be renamed to Gravewood High Multiplayer. The game will also be free! Walking around the spooky school with your friends will cost you nothing, well, maybe except for your life.
The single-player mode for Gravewood High will become paid DLC, purchasable in two variations:
Gravewood High – Chapter 1 will include the first level of the game only and can be bought for a discounted price.
Gravewood High – Complete will be available at the current price and will give you access to the first level and all future content.
All players that have previously purchased Gravewood High will automatically own the Gravewood High – Complete DLC at no additional cost. As a special gift, this DLC will include a digital art book for the game!

Announcing multiplayer for Gravewood High!
Dear students and concerned parents!
Mr. Hyde has noticed how many requests we have received from students to explore Gravewood High with their friends. Because of this, we have been forced to change the original plans for the game's Early Access period.
It's good news! We've listened to and read all of the requests and we're finally ready for a creepy school feature that we've been working on for months.
Introducing multiplayer for Gravewood High!
You'll be able to fight the mad Teacher and solve riddles with your friends. Friends just like Kim, Logan, and Madison (if you don't know who they are, you really should play the game!).

We will release the multiplayer mode before the end of summer (in the Northern Hemisphere), so there's still time to practice your hide-and-seek skills with Mr. Hyde in single-player. The rest of the release roadmap is still on track; the School Board is keeping its word.

Updated Early Access Roadmap
Dear students and concerned parents,
Below you can view the list of updates planned for the game while it remains in Early Access.
Early Access Features
Level 1, which consists of 5 different segments. The average time of one playthrough is 1-2 hours.
A basic version of the room layout generator and puzzle randomization, which increase the amount of unique playthroughs.
First player power - destroying walls and objects.
Mr. Hyde remains in his human form, but there are several nasty traps in his arsenal, so watch out!
Quality of Life Update
Once Early Access players have played through Gravewood High, we will begin to collect feedback. Any reported bugs will be fixed and we will incorporate further improvements to the game. While we have worked tirelessly on the title, there may be a few unplanned anomalies. You can submit anything that seems strange or bizarre to us through our forums, email, or social media channels; things that you find hilarious are also welcome!
Multiplayer update
Release the alpha version of the 2-6 player co-op multiplayer mode. Help each other against the Teacher, or frame other players so that you can escape the school alone. Earn ranks at the end of each round, such as 'Savior' or 'Teacher's Little Helper' – in the future, these ranke will affect the player's reputation system.
Adding new puzzles and riddles for multiplayer mode.
A large new map with unique areas, such as a gym, locker rooms, and more.
Additional mobility the Teacher so that he can now jump over low obstacles, like tables and through window openings.

A new puzzle related to the science exhibition in segment 2.
Mr. Hyde will obtain a new trap - a small bell, which will ring loudly if you are not careful.
Improved visuals. We will continue to work on lighting, item placement and the interiors of various rooms.
Level 2 Release
Level 2, consisting of a completely new, previously inaccessible location. This will add an additional 1-2 hours per playthrough.
Improvements to Level 1. Updated room layout generator and improved puzzle randomization, which will further diversify playthroughs.
Brand new puzzles and secrets!
New game mechanics and improvements to existing ones. Players will be able to cut chains, neutralize traps, and more.
The addition of a character leveling mechanic, which will depend on the number of items collected. It will be possible to increase your inventory space or movement speed among other things.
Mr. Hyde will change his appearance to something more sinister, gaining new traps and abilities in the process.
The Teacher can create barriers, encouraging the player to find ways to break them down or look for alternative routes.
Content Update 2
Improvements to Level 2. An updated algorithm for generating rooms, more room layout options and improved puzzle randomization, which will further diversify playthroughs.
New puzzles and secrets!
New horrific abilities for Mr. Hyde. We have played with a few abilities during development and plan to introduce a few to the final game. A teaser of what we’ve been working on behind the scenes: - "Leech" ability - Mr. Hyde spawns a gruesome creature that chases the player and slows them down. - "Tracking" ability - the Teacher is able to trail his prey by following the player’s footprints.
Full Release
Level 3, consisting of a completely new location. This will add an additional 1.5 hours of playtime to each playthrough.
Improvements to Level 3. An updated algorithm for generating rooms and improved puzzle randomization.
Mr. Hyde will unleash his final ghastly appearance. Are you brave enough to witness the Teacher’s true form?
Mr. Hyde will be able to teleport around the school building, catching the unsuspecting player.

Some of the best developers and publishers from around the world will reveal new announcements, trailers, and game demos.
And Mr. Hyde has something interesting in store for all of you. In fact, Miss Vanish fainted when she found out what it was – we presume this was either from excitement or the idea of cleaning up all of the classrooms.
We can't say much about it, but as a little teaser it's something that many students have requested. The new activity is not only bound to please you, but all of your classmates as well.

Dear students and concerned parents!
We hope you missed Mr. Hyde as much as he missed you - he wouldn't stop mumbling to himself about all of the students. He's also excited about the new addition to the school.
Previously, we told you about a school initiative spearheaded by several Gravewood students; we're happy that we can finally talk about it.
Mr. Hyde personally oversaw the renovation of the gym. It's now even more spacious and looks stunning. And he even included a few surprises for all of the students. How exciting!
All students will be able to take full advantage of the new facilities, including playing ball, running around the bleachers, and even causing some childish mischief with Mr. Hyde.
Please pack your sneakers, t-shirts, and gym shorts, because we're going to play tiggy tag with the teacher. You can choose between individual and group classes in the Gravewood High gym, but remember that attendance is mandatory.

Mr. Hyde has been infected, but children are safe
Dear students and concerned parents!
The school board received an urgent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about a strange illness that transforms the human body. Much to our regret, we did not have time to take the necessary safety precautions, and Mr. Hyde has already been infected.
It appears as if there is something strange living inside of him. However, there is a possibility that Mr. Hyde is patient zero for the disease, but we cannot comment further on his condition.
Until further notice, the school is closed and under quarantine. Anyone entering Gravewood High's grounds will do so at their own risk, and we will not take any responsibility for your recklessness.

Dear students and concerned parents!
The Gravewood High School Board reminds everyone to take care of themselves, take their vitamins, eat healthy food, and get enough sleep. Unlike Mr. Hyde, please don't let your health slide. He continues to suffer from insomnia, wandering the hallways of the school at night, and looks quite shabby. Miss Vanish thinks there is something else that's very wrong with him.
Please keep attending classes and handing in your homework on time as per usual. If you have to walk the corridors, try not to let Mr. Hyde see you – he has been very irritable of late.
We have offered Mr. Hyde an opportunity to go to therapy; you can see the effects on him above. This is an intermediate result, but in the future, we hope to show you even more interesting outcomes.
