Hey everyone!
It's been almost 2 weeks now since the release of Gray Dawn. After over 3 years of hard work in a group of just 3 people, seeing our first big game released on Steam with so many great reviews feels like a dream come true. We are extremely happy with the feedback we've been receiving, both from you on Steam, and from various YouTubers that we highlighted in our latest newsletter as well as from websites that have already reviewed Gray Dawn.
As a way of expressing our gratitude and to connect with our fans better, we are organizing a live stream on our YouTube Channel today at 6 pm GMT. We are going to play a fragment from Gray Dawn while talking about the game (including some behind-the-scenes details) and answering your questions. What's more, you will also get a chance to finally play Gray Dawn if you haven't done it yet as we will be giving out the game keys during the stream as well! We can't wait to see all of you there with us today!
We also wanted to take this opportunity to ask you for some additional support. Even though Gray Dawn has been received very well and the majority of you seem to enjoy it, the game is not selling as well as we expected. We would love to continue creating ambitious, engaging and unique experiences for you but this is obviously predicated on our budget. The more copies of Gray Dawn we sell, the easier it's going to be for us to develop new games as well as further develop Gray Dawn, e.g. by bringing it to new platforms or maybe even creating additional content.
That's why we are asking you to recommend our game to your friends as well as leave us a review on Steam (and on Metacritic ) if you haven't done so yet. We currently have a "Positive" rather than "Very Positive" score despite over 90% positive reviews due to a relatively small number of reviews. With 10 more reviews or so, we will be able to get to a "Very Positive" score on Steam which should result in better visibility of Gray Dawn on Steam. So if you've got a moment and you enjoyed Gray Dawn, please publish a review!
