200% faster Stamina Points regeneration!

We have re-worked the entire balance of the game to allow the Stamina to regenerate twice as fast in Rest Mode. This also means higher Stamina caps, higher regeneration by using Potions, and generally – more to do! Exactly as you wanted it 😊 You have spoken and we’ve heard you! For those who enjoy the game as it is – no worries, this won’t hurt the general Grimmwood feel. It will only give bigger margin for error, which also means – wider range for experimentation. The game has such an intriguing, wonderfully complex system, that it will be simply a shame if someone cannot experience it in full only because of the lack of Stamina.

Expect the server to be updated as early as possible next week for the balance changes to take effect. We’ll be testing the new balance all through the weekend to eliminate as many potential flaws as possible. But there’s only one real way to polish those changes to perfection and that’s by letting all of you guys play the game. So be there, play hard, give us your thoughts!

Planned Server Update – May 16th

Today, from 15:30 till 16:00 CET, there will be a planned server update. During that time the players will lose connection with the server preventing them from playing the game. We appologize for the inconvenience!

Here’s a list with the updates and improvements (which should take effect after the game server is back online):
- Fixed the bug causing Monsters to sometimes not visualize instantly on global map;
- Fixed the problem, preventing perk re-rolling for New Characters;
- Gravestones now disappear during after the daily resolve;
- Bandages are more now more effective;
- Dehydration now happens a bit sooner;
- Fixed the bug causing additional Sanity loss in battle;
- Fixed the bug causing already dead player to be attacked in Battle.

Update, May 16th

Change Log:
1. UI polish and optimization;
2. Attack cool-down added (giving all players in a Battle the time react to actions of the others ;)
3. Fixed issue with alive players in Battle loosing too much Sanity when another Player dies in the same Battle;
4. In Battle the weapons are sorted by hit chance;
5. Fixed issue causing too many Ponds to be generated;
6. Night attack fixes and optimizations;
7. Woodcutters can no longer be Clumsy;
8. Hatchet no longer requires quarterstaff to be made.
