Improvements



  • Spellbook is now available in the pause menu! Similar windows will be used to display all game information, such as damage and armor types, descriptions of enemies, turrets, and so on.

  • Units and Turrets can no longer fire through buildings, walls and gates.
  • When teleporting over the battlefield, an additional marker on the ground is displayed.
  • Added a rounded version of the fire rune (previously a rounded triangle was recognized as a circle - earth rune).
  • Optimized game code. The following mechanics now work much more "smoothly":

    • symbols recognition;
    • game objects spawning;
    • buffs casting.

  • Slightly improved spell recognition mechanics. If you draw runes quickly, they form a single spell, even if you release the "Hold Runes" action.
  • Increased enemy crystal damage.
  • Slightly increased incoming damage on allies on easy difficulty (25% -> 30%), slightly reduced number of allies on the first level.
  • Lots of minor improvements.

Fixes



  • Game language did not always match the selected setting (fixed)
  • If there was no suitable target, the meteorite was targeted at the center of the game level (fixed)
  • Electric mines and enemy Crystal did not create lightning effect when they hit the target (fixed)
  • SnapTurn and Teleport did not work correctly during the pause (fixed)

Main changes



  • Spells and items can be grabbed from a distance.


  • Unlocked healing spell.

  • If several runes drawn in a row do not form a single spell, each rune is activated separately from the others.

  • Difficulty selection.
  • Balance tweaks. Stronger Lightning Bolt and Fireball. Changed the number of enemies and allies for some waves. Knights are now equipped with steel armor, giving increased protection against physical damage and fire, but reduced resistance to electricity and magical damage.
  • Improved symbol recognition.
  • When teleporting, all spells move with you.
  • You can start a wave instantly. To do so, you must attack your enemy's crystal. Increased delay before each stage.
  • Ball lightning now targets only your enemies.
  • Gold and tools will not drop from enemies if the build ability is not already unlocked.

Additional changes



  • "New" label is displayed for all spells that the player has never taken in hand.
  • Improved training elements. Added video tooltip for mission selection. Some messages now do not disappear over time. Improved hints on the first level. Added "Destroy" arrows.
  • Interface hides if Steam Overlay is open.
  • Messages (subtitles) are now easier to read while paused.
  • New labels: "Beware of friendly fire", "Mana required for spell"
  • Improved interface for buying and upgrading spells.
  • After victory or defeat, player's main resources (experience and knowledge) are displayed on his hand.

Fixed



  • If you skipped the starting tutorial, it was viewed as completed.
  • If you move during a pause, the screen gets blacked out.
  • Allies spawned with a red teleportation effect or without any effects.
  • After teleportation the camera did not always turn to the target.
