Quick hot-fix for a few issues that popped up during the last update:
WMR Controllers should now have a set of Default Bindings through SteamVR Input
Stopped the "Toggle Grips Require Release" option defaulting to ON (causes controllers that use Toggle Grips to not be able to release grips)
Potenially fixed an issue causing some guns to require re-charging after firing a single shot, if issue continues to persist please do not hesitate to contact us
Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this past update! We're keeping an eye out and are ready to deploy any further hotfixes that may be required.
Rotational Bolt-locking added to relevant weapon i.e MP5, EF88 etc
Seated Mode and height adjustment Added
G17 & G18 lower rail now supports attachments (No mounted rail required)
(Sandbox) Can now rotate props as they’re being placed
(Sandbox) Added more props
New Options:
Added Stock Emulation Option for Two-Handed Tracking
On - Gun moves like stock is pressed against the shoulder
Hybrid - Same as “On” but only engages when the gun is lifted up the the shoulder which allows for hipfiring
Off - Gun follows the two hands directly
Added Grip Offset Option to disable controller offset (this lowers held items to where the real hand is located but can mean controller can clash when operating)
Off - Held items is where hand is location
Low - Held items are slightly above hand location
High - Held items are above the hand location
Added Setting to reduce the size of enemy health indicators
Off
Small
Large ( original size )
Added Toggle Grips Require Release option that restricts a toggled grip to only release when the action "Release Toggle Grip" is pulled. Useful for if you've rebound the Grip and Fire actions to the same button through Steam Inputs.

We're almost there! Early Access Update #5
Welcome to Gun Club VR’s biggest update yet! We’re super excited to announce that this update will prepare us for launch from Early Access. Read on to see what’s been added!
Sandbox This abandoned missile silo has no limits, no rules; just grab any gun and start blowing stuff up. Select from a variety of destructible items (more being added regularly) to spawn and setup your very own scenario. Blow up walls, explode barrels, attach rockets to bits of rope or even spawn a concrete T-rex, just because you can. Let your imagination run wild with this no-holds-barred playpen.
Manual attachment system Gain total control of your weapon’s rig by manually attaching rails, scopes, grips, flashlights - you name it. Intuitively navigate the upgrade menu (or sandbox’s) attachment library and mix and match to find the ultimate setup. For those of you that prefer a more hands off approach, auto-attach is still an option.
Sniper events The Allied Range introduces an all new sniper mode for those with rifles. Snap on a scope and challenge your marksman skills in these dextrous sniper events - can you ensure the safety of the VIP?
Spray can livery system Give your guns a personal touch with splash of paint. Nothing says ‘come at me bro’ like a yellow indifferent emoji sprayed on your Glock. Select from multiple brush types, stencils and colours or import your own images to make your collection truly unique.
“Oh the grind!” (Money balance adjustment) Thought earning money was too much of a grind? We heard you loud and clear and have rebalanced events to be more generous with cash rewards. “Yay!” That’s right Timmy, you’ll be fleshing out your arsenal in no time. And for those who already endured the grind, you’ll be retroactively awarded with what you would have earned had this new system been in place when you started. Look for the fat stack of cash on the gun case in the lobby!
User profiles Sick of fighting over your Gun Club VR progress with your loved ones? Or perhaps you’re trying to run a reputable VR Arcade and are fed up with deleting config files? Well boy do we have the solution for you - multiple user profiles! Whether you want to start a fresh game and experience all the (new) magic that Gun Club VR has to offer or perhaps spec out in a different direction entirely, multiple user profiles have got your back with 4 slots of discreet storage action.
Weapon profiles With all of your fancy spray-painted & decked out guns you’ll be wanting some way to store them. Luckily, we thought of that too. Each gun now has up to four unique profiles so you can have that perfect configuration ready to go at the press of a button.
More action ranges Ostentatiously called advanced “Action 2” ranges, these events step things up a notch from their “Action 1” brethren. You’ll now be weaving inside buildings, running up stairs, peering out windows and warping through back allies as you lay waste to any and all plywood that dares stand in your way.
New Weapons
AWSM
M1 Garand
De Lisle rifle
Quality of Life stuff
Players can now use the trigger buttons to pull slides without accidently gripping the weapons
Operate the Slide Lock by pressing Left on the Thumbpad/stick
More target variety!
More stuff we’ve forgotten about (seriously)
An update of this magnitude is probably more prone to bugs than usual, so if you do find anything please do be sure to post on the forums or send us your feedback directly via https://thebinarymill.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Thanks for your continued support and we hope you enjoy the update!

Gun Club VR Update 2
We’ve uploaded a small update (0.3.99985) to address some minor bugs. While fixing these bugs we also made some improvements to the performance in the Range. We’re still working on the Allied weapons for the WWII update but wanted add in these revisions in the meantime.
In this build:
- It is now possible to initiate an Action Range Teleport with the interact button instead of waiting for the timer.
- Vive Controllers have refined grab detection to improve weapon interactions
- Vive users now have a alternate fade for teleporting that doesn’t incorporate the SteamVR view
- Scoreboard updates properly in the Action Ranges
- Performance improvements in the Range
Thanks for everyone’s input, please don’t hesitate to make any suggestions or let us know about any bugs you find.
